Hello all.
I was wondering could any body please tell me whether there is a midi controller that I can hook up to my iPhone to allow me to control garage band if so please provide me with a name of some controllers that would allow me to do this or please provide me With some links that I could go to on where to purchase them from.

Hi,

For some time now, I've been interested in obtaining something that will let me use one of my MIDI keyboards with my 5th Generation iPod Touch and apps like GarageBand or Alchemy. I know there are a couple devices, such as the Apple iRig MIDI 2, and one from Line6, but as I understand it both use the old connector rather than the newer lightning one, and are compatible with the 4th Gen iPod.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to what interface I should go for?

Thanks.

Yours Sincerely,
Kelly Sapergia

I'm a podcaster and a sound designer and I am interested in purchasing a midi keyboard that I can use to manipulate samples. Does anyone have any experience with Midi keyboard hardware, or software? Whats accessible and what should I take into consideration? The ability to control and manipulate any audio that I create, is the main function that I am interested in. I use my mac for all of my audio editing, and it would be very much preferred if the keyboard worked with some app on OS X.

Hello everyone. Subject line pretty much sums it up. I've recently been getting an error on my MyPassport external hard drive which is a Western Digital. I can play things from my iTunes library just fine, but it seems that whenever I leave the drive plugged in and then come back here after doing something else VoiceOver says "error on rate configuration." I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so, what did you do to make the error go away? I've also been doing backups using the external drive and Time Machine, and they seem to be successful.

The Money Saving Expert website has a page that sets out the various options for buying an iPhone in the UK. It's focus is on obtaining the best deal. It is regularly updated and is worth reading if you are thinking of buying an iPhone.

Here's the link: www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/cheap-iphone

Hi all, I was wondering if any of you would happen to have an accessible copy (PDF or other format) of the user manual for iK Multimedia's iRig Keys midi controler? The one it comes with is in small print, I don't currently have anything to scan it with and I don't always have sighted help readily available to help me; so I'll need a copy that I can read on my own. I did some googling around and I also went back to www.irigkeys.com to see what I could find on the official website, and there wasn't mich of anything of any help.

Hi all. I hope everyone is doing well. Subject is pretty accurate. I'm wondering if there is a way to tell how much data is being transferred--as well as how fast or slow--between my Mac and iPhone and any of my blue-tooth devices. Somebody on an email list recently suggested low data as a possible cause for me being unable to connect my NLS eReader successfully via blue-tooth or USB to my Mac and/or iPhone. In addition, I attempted to connect my blue-tooth headset to my Mac a couple days ago and was unable to do so. This has worked flawlessly before.

Hello, all. I'm writing this as someone who, in general, hates to wear headphones unless I have no other choice, like at work or the gym. At work, I use a pair of wired sony ear buds with my victor reader. Since t hey work very well, I don't want to risk damaging them, so when I go to planet fitness, I have been using a pair of super cheap, supposedly waterproof ear buds I found on amazon. They've been great for a year or so, but just started shorting out this morning.

Am about to make an upgrade, and my budjet can not get more than 11 pro or 12 mini, so what are your suggestions? and why please?

In last 2 months Apple has given me 3 iPhone XS Maxs after complaining about poor muffled sound quality from the earpiece when speaking to people.... the sound from the same call on the speakerphone or bluetooth speakers are fine.... went to Apple store 5 times with the different phones and they found the first phone's sound coming up bad doing their diagnostics.... yet the next 2 phones came up OK yet the sound quality was still poor....

Please recommend a multiport charging device for my mostly-Apple devices. I have iPad Pro 11 2020 and iPhone SX Max and Huawei Freebuds Three So I am looking for a charging station with multiport and perhaps some USB ports for charging some other peripherals like my braille display. The iPad Pro uses a USB-C to USB-C cable, so the charging station should have output port for this as well.
Thanks

Let me preface this by saying I love my pros. I've had them for about two weeks, and in almost every way they are far superior to my first generations Airpods. They pair faster, sound better, last longer, virtual surround sound will soon be a thing and I can shut the world out or let it in on a whim. And the ability to have a clickable button like the wired Earpods to control what I'm listening to is far better than the awkwardness of tapping your own head to make the sounds stop. That just makes you look insane.

Hello everyone,
Yesterday, while I was spending Thanksgiving with my family, my cousins boyfriend who actually works at the Apple Store, finally got himself an iPhone 7 Plus. that's right, the big dog. And unlike the iPhone 7, it's big, but offers some grate features. Here's what I got from my experience playing with it:

I ordered an apple watch on my phone plan, (I pay off the phone and watch on the same carrier,) they had a deal, you pay 0 percent upfront and start paying on the next month I believe, I can't remember at the moment so I thought why not?

Keep in mind I had an apple watch first gen and didn't like it, I found it slow and clunky, I didn't think about that though, honestly; I'd forgotten I had ordered it when the watch came out.

I recently purchased my first hearing aid, a made for iPHONE model sold by Costco as the Kirkland Signature KS8. My American dollars price was $1599, basically ssixteen hundred dollars. Costco also has warehouse stores in the U.K. and Australia and probably other countries as well.

The KS 8 is identical to the Signia Pure 312 7Nx. Spec sheets and manuals are the same except for the name change. Apparently Costco, which has 11% share of the hearing aid market has enough buying power to get Rexton to rebrand and reduce the price for them.

hi all, recently I have ben lucky enough to get approved for financing for a new iMac. the one I'm getting is a 21.5 inch quad core i five processor, and a 1 tb drive that is 5400 rpm per minute. my question here is, have any of you had this model of iMac, and if so, how good are these compared to some of the older iMacs, and what is your experiences with voiceover on one of these iMacs verses voiceover and software on say a mac book pro? any advice about this mac would be helpful.

And lots of use are talking about their experience from iOS to android and back on this platform, I’m here to talk about my iOS story, and why I sacrificed to get a Google pixel seven last year. And one I’m back to iOS
Please note you on some of these terms but I might imagine, you may not know if you’re not technically genius

My parents got themselves a new truck today! I, being the technology person I am, decided to connect my phone to Bluetooth.
it turns out, when you do this voiceover tries to come out of the car speakers. This is a problem because, the car just isn’t built for voiceover.
I don’t get any sound coming out of my phone because it’s trying to come out of the speakers. I fix this by putting in my AirPods which was nice, but now I could use some help.
Is there a way to make VoiceOver come out of only the phone when it is connected to a car or anything else for that matter.
