Have just recently purchased an Apple Watch SE and I'm really enjoying my experience so far. However, because I wear two hearing aids, I am looking for advice on which Bluetooth headphones would be best suited for hearing aid users.
firstly, they would need to be
)comfortable) I.E. not admitting (feedback) from the hearing aids when the headphones are over my ears. This is my main concern.
Hello,
I'm searching for a compact Bluetooth keyboard, maybe foldable, that works with VoiceOver on iOS but also with Windows 10 and NVDA. Furthermore, I want to get rid of Mini-USB and Lightning cables wherever possible. So I try to buy USB-C-devices.
Any ideas, suggestions or recommendations?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all. I just found out that I'm eligible for a discounted upgrade through my carrier, so I'm considering getting a better phone. Right now, I have the iPhone SE 2020. I got it since it was free and my first introduction to iPhones, but now I want something better. My carrier, Cricket Wireless, has phones all the way up to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I'm not sure what to get. I don't care about the screen since I'm totally blind, but I want it to have a decent camera for scanning products, text, and things like that.
I have the opportunity to get a new iPhone, because my 6+ is five years old and about to die on me.
I would like feedback on the 8+, and any versions of iPhone 10 or 11.
I'm leaning toward the 8+ because it's less expensive, and it still has a home button.
Is there any reason accessibilitywise to go for the newer and more expensive phones?
Are there any features in these newer models that would convince me to keep saving for the new ones?
Any opinions welcome.
Thank you.
Hi all, I'm thinking about upgrading my phone from an eight to either the latest SE model or the iPhone 12 mini. Like most of us on this site, I do not need or want the fancy camera stuff. So my question is would the better phone be the latest SE or the iPhone Mini? Thanks all in advance for advice and recommendations.
Hi guys,
So as the title says, I am confused between purchasing the AirPod 3, the pros and or the pros second generation.
Mainly want to get them for no lag whilst using on Bluetooth, the spatial sounds, sound quality, good mics background noise cancelation during calls.
Hi everyone. I've just used a BRAILLE display device, type B.Note 20 from EUROBRAILLE.. The problem I found was,: I can't make the BRAILLE screen connect on my iPhone 13 Pro Max iOS 15.6. Initially the device was connected, it said ?Connected", but the Braille screen display remained blank. Are there friends here who use B.Note 20 too? Thank you for the solution provided.
I'd like to get myself a half-way accessible and Atmos-capable home-theater-system, which I could directly connect to an Apple TV 4k Without any TV connected in between. Does anyone of you know of such a system and if yes, would it further be possible to directly control the speakers volume with the Apple TV remotes volume buttons?
I am using garage band on the iphone and am thnking about getting the ik multimedia irig keys portavble keyboard to use with garage band. My iphone 5s has a lightning connector. IfI purchase the irig keys with the lightning connector will it work on my iphone 5s and will I be able to monitor through the headphone jack on my 5s. I have heard that using any audio device wth the lightning connector on the iphone t5s disables the headphone jack on the iphone. Does anyone have any experience with using the 5s with the irig keys?
I've been using GarageBand for iOS quite a lot these days due to the added accessibility features in the latest version. I like to play its instruments using my MIDI keyboard, which I connect to my iPhone X using the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adaptor.
The issue I'm currently experiencing is that I'd also like to be able to connect my headphones to the iPhone, and possibly additional devices.
Does anyone know if there's a hub or something that will allow me to do this?
Hello,
I am doint a bit of research, as I will soon be purchasing an iPad. I am finding this site extrememly useful in providing most of the information I need, but I do have one question which I have not seen an answer to: Is it possible to connect more that one device to the bluetooth simultaneous, for example a keyboard and a Braille display? If this is not possible, asre there any other options for connecting things like this to the iPad?
Thanks for your help

Hello:
One of my colleagues is looking to connect a PayPal card reader to his iPhone using the lightning port. The problem, whenever this connection is made, Voiceover thinks a headphone is connected and goes silent. We've tried pairing the phone with a bluetooth speaker, but can't seem to get VO output to go through the speaker. How can we get Voiceover output to go to either the phones speaker or to the bluetooth speaker when the card reader is connected?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Jim

Hello,

I'm currently a Talks user, and like all aspects of it, but am interested in learning about Voiceover and iPhones.

My first question, is speech from VoiceOver supported while on an active call? For example, caller id, reading/sending a text, surfing the web, etc?
Hello, everyone. I find myself doing something I never thought I would. Due to my lightning EarPods breaking, and to me having to replace them at least once a year, I am now contemplating buying AirPods. I never really wanted to have to leave my Bluetooth on, but if it means not having my wires breaking on me? You bet I'm up for it! I have never owned a Bluetooth set of earbuds, but the fact that I like how EarPods fit me and how simple the pairing process for the AirPods is, I figure I'd love them.
