Looking for a converter for male 30 pin from a Panasonic music centre SC-HC27DB with iPod dock to connect to my iPhone 12 so I can play my Apple Music through the speakers.
The music centre is male connection and needs to be male connector to connect to my iPhone.
As part of today's announcement of the new iPhone 12 range, the iPhone 12 Pro models are set to include LIDAR.
This is a function that detects light reflected off objects in the environment and is designed to improve augmented reality by tracking movement and improve camera focus.
My question is, could this be a bit of technology that massively improves life for us VI and Blind iPhone users?
Hi, I want to create better quality podcasts. I have a small desk so what could I get that will either hook into a windows computer or what iPhone app could I get that would make excellent podcasts and pick up the speech of the phone and make it sound clear? I would also redo the current podcast I have up there if I could get it to sound better. I want to provide high quality podcasts for the community.
I'm honestly curious of those who have physical buttons still on their devices, phones mostly. forget the cost of a device, forget the idea you can switch to another operating system. What will those die hard fans of the home buttons, probably the volume buttons eventually and even the power button, what will you do? When everyone hated the headphone jack going away, I saw it as ok, one less port to get dirt or water in. When the home button went away my use case is the same.
Hi all
I remember I ordered a custom fit leather case for my old Mac Air 11 inch, and I can not remember exactly what it is called, I mean there are sleeves and clamshells but forgot what a leather case that is custom fit for Macs called. I have a Mac Pro M1 2020 and thought I would like to order one for protection. Could anyone help with this? The case covers the whole Mac just like those of iPhones if this can help.
Hello to the applevis community! I am looking into purchasing a new iPad since my 1st gen mini cannot receive the 9.2 update. If you were going to upgrade, would you go with a 4th gen mini or an iPad air 2? I have heard of some problems with the original iPad air and bluetooth, as well as some VoiceOver quality issues, so has anyone else exxperienced this in the 2nd gen air? I will also carry the new iPad in a bt keyboard case, so does anyone have any suggestions for cases for either iPad version? Thanks in advance for all of your help! :)
I bought an iPhone X last week, Before that.I have an iPhone 6. After all the phone has been moved to iPhone X, I think the iPhone 6 is redundant, I have two options,
One is to sell the iPhone 6, even if it does not sell for a good price,
Two is to keep the old iPhone
Which one do you think is better ?
The heat and humidity is the worst it's ever been, and it doesn't show signs of going away. I'm looking for a dehumidifier for my 500 sq ft living space to make it more bearable for myself and less hostile to my instruments. There's a washing machine in the next room, so I'll likely need an oversized unit for the given area. I'm wondering if I can get a unit with Homekit integration to avoid the hassle of inaccessible membrane switches and segment displays. Is this even a thing? If yes, does anybody have recommendations?
Hi all,
I am using IOS 14.2, Mac OS Big sur 11.1 and my AirPods Pro are updated to the latest firmware. I was wondering about device switching between my Mac and my I-Phone.
Usually when I start my Mac and when my AirPods are in my ear, the notification appears on my Mac asking if I want to switch to my Mac.
I was hoping that the switch would be automatic and I would not have to go to notification centre or my bluetooth menu to switch to my AirPods on Mac.
I often watch youtube or listen to a book with music in the background. I started researching and apparently there is no way to get 2 audio apps to play at the same time on an iPhone. This leads to me having to pack around and keep 2 phones charged. Not much to do about that I guess, but the other problem this creates is that I have to use 2 sets of airpods, 1 set for each phone and also adding 2 more devices to charge. I don’t like earbuds in both ears at the same time even with transparency because I find it nice but not quite transparent enough.
Is it possible to dial prompts using the number line on a Bluetooth keyboard while on a call?
If not, some suggestions about how to be more successful with my touch screen will be helpful. I have no trouble dialing a number to make a phone call; however, when I have to dial a prompt on an automated system, I am not fast enough for the system. I have read some of the suggestions about programming the necessary numbers into my phone as part of a contact; however, I do not feel comfortable doing that.
There is a problem when using third-party bluetooth headphones and dictating text
When tapping on the dictate button or using magic tap you may have to wait several seconds before hearing the beep allowing you to speak your text
Sometimes you don’t even get the beep and if you do talk you find that the beginning of the Messages truncated
I found this problem on four different headsets from different manufacturers although beats works just fine
I have advised Bose who have said they have had several complaints and are contacting Apple
In may 2019 I pre-ordered the Nuraloop (the portable version of the Nuraphone). I just received an mail to confirm my address because they start shipping the product shortly.

Does someone use the NuraPhone and what is your opinnion about the product? Is the app accessible? Because I think I have to use the app to setup my Nuraloop.
