Kia ora, all. I've seen a lot on these fora about the QC35 but nothing about the 700. Does anyone use these successfully with their iphone? The music app is pretty useable now (I have the Home speaker) so I thought to get these while they're on special. Any comments appreciated. Nga mihi, Kylee

I'm trying to talk myself out of spending $70 more on the Bose Frames Tenor than the Bose Frames Alto. As far as I can tell, the advantages of the Tenor are:
* Better battery life
* Quicker battery charging
* Ability to interface with Siri
* Marginally improved audio (I didn't notice much different on the display models but wasn't listening too closely)
* My wife says the Tenor look better on me (can't underestimate the value of that!)
For those of you who have these and use VoiceOver, I have a question or two.
First, if you have them paired and are only using them through the day for VO, do they turn off? If they time out to save power and come back on when your phone starts speaking, I am fine with that. I just don't want to have to turn them on whenever I check my phone.
Hi all, I just stumbled across something that sounds incredibly interesting. Bose are releasing a pair of sunglasses in spring 2019, They seem to have bone conduction built into the frames and they have a 9 axis gyro built in so they know which way they are pointing, couple this with GPS from your bluetooth connected phone and they claim to provide custom audio experiences. Iā guessing this would be something like museum guided tours or historical info on heretage sites or something, just my guess. Anyway thats not the point.
I came across the Bose Soundlink Mini 2 SE at Costco today. I've read the post about how many people here enjoyed the Soundlink Mini 2 (non-SE), but there doesn't seem to be anything on this new model. YouTube videos say that the sound and design are the same with the key differences being longer battery life and USB type C. Has anyone checked out this new version? Does it have all the same functionality and compatibility with Voiceover?
Hi all! I am looking into upgrading to a new iPad mini 4. I have used a 1st generation iPad mini with a bt keyboard case for several years now, and I am looking at options for a keyboard on my new iPad mini. Have any of you used the mini 4 in a keyboard case with VoiceOver? How has your experience been, and which keyboard are you using? Thanks for all of your help!
Hey Guys,
I encountered strange new bug in8.02. I have a philips DS3000 sound dock. When i connect an iPod 5g, it deactivates my triple click voice over function.
Not sure if just DS3000. I reported to Philips and Apple.
I'm experiencing an annoying bug with my Airpod 2 Pros, firmware 5B58.
Despite having Spacial Audio, head Tracking, Headphone Accommodations, Transparency and Noise Reduction all turned off, I am hearing fake room sound added to mono source material such as audiobooks. Not only that, but when I move my head, the sound shifts in the stereo field, and settles back to phantom center position after about five seconds.
This is happening on an iPhone 8 plus running iOS 16.2.
Hello,
Is it me or is anyone else finding that the buttons on the new odderbox defender cases are hard to press? I have bought 2 so far that the buttons are hard to press.
Hello,
I'm going to buy a new computer soon. At the moment, I have a macbook pro touchbarr, and I would like a desktop computer.
I would like to buy an iMac, but I'm afraid that in the coming years VoiceOver will be abandoned on the mac. And I have the impression that Jaws can better help when applications are not accessible, for example using OCR ... But I can't tell myself that I will no longer have synchronization with messages, calls, and airdrop.
What do you think?
Thank you.

Hello all,
Hopefully on Saturday I will be buying my first Mac Computer. I am either going to go with a 13.3 air or 13.3 Macbook Pro. I am deciding between the extra umph the Pro gives verses that 12 hour battery life the air provides. I know I want a 512gig SSD on the unit so I can have boot camp with Windows on it and still have a good amount of storage for each partitian. Well wish me luck on my journey into the world of the Mac.
Regards,
Greg Wocher
Hi all. this Mac is showing it's age. Although with a little cosmetic damage and a new battery this would be fine for someone. I just am wanting to get more up to date. I have a few questions. first, I want to go to an SSD as the normal hard drive, I forget the type, makes me bonkers waiting for it to do stuff sometimes. Has anyone found boot times, and loading of pages and apps better with an SSD? Has anyone bought a smaller one and wished for a bigger one? What's the big difference between an air and a pro? This one I'm writing on is a Mac book pro.
Hi everyone,
I currently own a MacBook Air M1 with 256 GB internal SSD storage and want to buy a new MacBook with 1 TB or more internal SSD storage and 16 GB Unified Memory. I have one question: Does VoiceOver perform better on an M2 Pro (MacBook Pro 14" 2023) than on a MacBook Air M2 (2022)? I'm not sure if the extra charge for the M2 Pro is worth it or whether I should go for the M2 MacBook Air.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Everyone.
My question is simple, If you could design features and improvements to the Meta Ray ban smart glasses, what would you design?
How would you customise what Meta have already delivered to be your perfect device?
Given the hardware that currently exists, what would you do in software?
How do you imagine the hardware improving in future versions to offer the best experience possible for blind and low vision users?
If you were writing your answers directly to Meta, what would you ask them for?
When using iOS 16 on my iPhone 13 mini I was able to accept incoming phone calls on my MFi hearing aids by clicking a button on the hearing aids and then progressing with the call leaving the phone in my pocket and the call using the hearing aids microphones. That worked fine with iOS 16. Now I have installed iOS 17.0.2 (and I've tried the beta of 17.1 as well) callers hear me very faintly or with very poor sound quality. My hearing aids are Resound Omnia, rebadged as Amplifon. Are others experiencing similar issues? I'm about to report to Apple via beta feedback.
I know there have been some rumblings about cameras on airpods which, personally, I think is a bit daft due to comfort, positioning, issues with beardss and hairhair and hair, and it would seem this is what apple is working toward, which makes much more sense:
