Calling all Blind gamers. I am working with a game production company to develop a game similar to Audio Defence. I guess I got tired of waiting around for someone else to do it. My game is called The Circus Masters Revenge. You guessed it. Instead of zombies coming at you. You will have 23 different kinds of circus performers that are trying to attack you. This game is still in the early stages of development. My first time attempting something like this so I am being very very picky. I don’t care if the blind community wants to play this game or not. I want to play it because I am a blind gamer that misses this type of game. I have to admit that when Somethin Else left iOS. I was really upset. I never even got to play the night jar. They definitely were ahead of their time as far as game play goes. Atleast on a mobile platform. Nobody since has even come close. This is where I want to succeed. Not just for all the blind gamers out there but for me. If you are interested in a game like this. Let me know in a comment. The more gamers interested in a game like this will help my game producers understand how important this game will be to us. I even got Marty from the blindfold series interested in this game. He is helping me understand the business side of this adventure. So when this game is developed and you enjoy it make sure you thank him for helping me out with the process. I will keep everyone updated on the progress right here. Thanks for your time. I will try my best not to let you down.

I’m gonna do my best to bring this type of game back to the iOS platform. I was told by the production team that is developing this game for us that they will be starting this project tomorrow morning. they even askEd me to do the circus masters voice. Hee hee. I will try to make Dr. bastard proud. I guess it makes sense aftterall I am the one who wrote this game design and story.

I've not heard your voice, and I am not saying you can't bring off a good circus master, but it'd be awesome to have Dr. Bastard return. Only thing I wish as far as Audio Defense went was that after a while you were able to actually shoot the good doctor, as much Hell as he put you through lol

By sockhopsinger on Friday, March 23, 2018 - 04:42

I think if the game had been completed like they were going to do, including fighting in the arenas in front of crowds, that would hopefully have been an option. I'm frankly still holding out for an accessible Star Wars game. Viva la lightsaber!

By Joseppie on Friday, March 23, 2018 - 04:42

I will do my best to make this game great. Hopefully it will be awesome enough where we will all say, Audio Defence who? I wish I could tell you guys what I have come up with so far. It is turning into something crazy and amazing. Just the weapons alone are freaking ridiculous. I just hope the audio engineers can keep up with my game ideas. I can’t wait to play this damn thing myself!!! Ha ha

I'm enthusiastic about seeing this come to fruition. I'm a blind gamer and software developer with a strong background in computer science (Master's degree). How can I help?

By kool_turk on Friday, March 23, 2018 - 04:42

I only hope this game doesn't end up like all the others where you put it aside once you finish the story.

A blind legend was like that, great game, but it isn't one I would keep coming back to once you've gotten everything out of it.

Back in the 90s they had a term for those games, they called it clocking.

Once you've clocked a game that's it, you might play it once in a while, but unless there is some sort of mode that would make you want to play more, there just isn't any point.

Sixth sence didn't have much, but you could come back to that if all you wanted to do was kill some zombies.

Now that was a fun game.

I wonder if the blind comunity will ever make something that is open world that isn't a mud.

I guess time will tell.

I'll keep an eye on this thread, just to see if anything different comes out of it.

So far, it looks like the same stuff we've seen before in other titles.

Hi.

You could try going to www.audiogames.net and posting in the developer forum.

You should get quite afew responses there.

Thank you Brad. I have done that several times. The audio net forums are mainly for PC platforms. Visually impaired gamers are still gamers no matter what the platform is. At least that’s what I thought. I still get some good information from those forms but not for this platform. I appreciate you trying to help out with this project buddy. Thanks again

By riyu12345 (not verified) on Friday, March 23, 2018 - 04:42

It's true that audiogames.net is mostly about pc or mac games but I know that some if not most of those on the site have IPhones or android devices.

I enjoy helping out and I believe in this project. I wish I could help more but I don't have any other ways to do so.

Spread the word. Can’t do it by myself. Good hunting.

By MikeFont on Friday, March 23, 2018 - 04:42

Just tell me how I can help this project along, and I'll do me best. :)
Once beta testing is ready, count me in also. Btw, who are the developers for this?
Thanks.

This is more like a post page not really good for discussions. Here is my Twitter account if you want to contact me. J.F.QuirkIII

I'll definitely try this game out when it's released and if you need a beta tester reply to this comment or private message me.

This post form is gaining momentum guys. Keep up the good work. Have talk to the game developers this week and they are extremely excited about having the opportunity to develop this game for us. I already have a feeling this game going to be way more exciting than I previously imagined.
Production company has already started writing code and is getting ready to start working with the audio engineers for the sound that is of the 3-D nature. I am excited as should we all be. Even trying to get a hold of Steve saylor from youtube to scratch his brain as an expert in accessibility gaming. I figured the more experts I get involved with this the better experience we will have when is complete

By Alex664 on Friday, March 23, 2018 - 04:42

I am really interested in beta testing and I will share this to a blind computing group on facebook

By Joseppie on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

I apologize for this overdue update the game developers and I have been really busy trying to get this thing in motion. I will be receiving the first sample of Circus Masters revenge on April 19. I will be sharing my experience with you here. I will try not to spoil anything. I know it sucks guys but I promise that this will be the new standard for visually impaired FPS audio games. The game developers are still extremely motivated to help me create a game that leads the way for accessible Action gaming. The game developers are very excited and proud to be working on my project. We have been communicating sometimes four or five times a week. So I am looking forward to next Wednesday because my dreams will be finally realized in a glance. At least a sneak peek of it anyways. I hope this gets you guys a bit relieved. For those of you who want to be game testers. That will be available but probably not for a few more months. Just be patient and I will deliver the goods. Thanks guys. I hope this made you smile. You should see my face. .

By Maria.espino on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

2 things. 1. Can i be in the beta testers list? 2. Are you going to add the snuffle hogs in the game?

By Joseppie on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

In reply to by Maria.espino

Ha ha I haven’t heard that in a few years. Number one no snuffle hands. I got something better for your ass. Number two I’ve never been a beta tester so I don’t know how it works. Have you done it before?

My game production company is called Mental Vision Games LLC. I am ready to start the sign up process for serious game testers only. There are only 25 total spots for this. One spot has already been filled by Jesse from the illegally cited YouTube channel. I was told by someone with experience in this process that it takes a while to fill these positions. So, I just decided to get a head start. Game testing on the test flight application will start around 90 days. I am being very serious with this process. If you are serious about being a game tester I would like you to send me an email with your first name and a little about yourself. Let me know if you are visually impaired. If you are cited or not doesn’t matter to me. I have to know either way so that I can give it an equal ratio. This Poll will definitely help us with our marketing strategy. Yes, this game has been created and developed specifically for the blind gaming community. For the cited community there will be graphics so it will be enjoyable for everyone. Here is the email address you will need to send your info to.

Mentalvision.info@gmail.com

I will respond Promptly. Thank all of you for helping me make my dreams reality.

I have already sent an email to the address you have provided, my friend.
I am very interested to become a beta tester for this incredible game.

Thank you for making this possible.

Is the email Address I sent you my message from.
God bless.

I sent you an email to the address you provided. Cant wait for this game

By ironcross on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

I can't help but be a bit skeptical, especially if you are working with the people from Blindfold games, who just... well, with their strategies of trying to nickel and dime you to death, throwing a fit over Apple's rules, giving ridiculous excuses as to why they couldn't conform to those rules like *every... body else does*.

I wasn't using Apple products back when games like AD and Papa Sangre came out, so I missed this part of the blind / VI mobile gaming scene. I do wish this project success, and look forward to playing it.

Please count me in

By Erick on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

Well I already signed up for beta testing. I’m excited to try this game out, hopefully it’s great!

Hopefully also there will be a Star Wars game for iOS that is accessible. I wish there was. Good luck on your work and I’m excited to send you feedback!

By Joseppie on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

I thank all of you who have signed up for game testing so far. We are over halfway there in less than a week. You guys are amazing. Just wanted to let you know that I tested this morning the very first portion of the introduction and the menu screen. It is freaking awesome. I have never played a mobile game that was so easy to navigate. The audio on this game is going to be phenomenal. So far this game has the feel and characteristic of a game that you’re not going to want to put down. I said before that I was working with the blindfold series Marty shultz with this game. He was only helping me in the beginning with the process. They are not involved in the production of this game at all. So if you have bad feelings with them then don’t worry. This game will have items and things that will be purchased symbol for upgrade. But there will be other ways to earn credits towards upgrading if you don’t feel like spending money to do it quickly. Keep the faith everyone. It’s going to kick butt

By sockhopsinger on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

What is this accessible Star Wars windows game you speak of? It's off topic a little, and for that I apologize, but I have been seeking an accessible Star Wars game a looooooooong time! Thanks.

By Erick on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

I'm excited for the beta release even if it is just a few small things. I like huge releases and stuff like that, but I will give a lot of support to you. This is going to be good! I wonder what weapons will be their! I hope we get to see more then Audio Defense, to me audio Defense had just a small selection of weapons, for me I like a huge huge huge selection of weapons. But we are not their yet.

I think we will get their, with time. But anyway, this is such a great project. Don't give up this game like Somethinelse did. Keep up the good work! And one more thing, may the force be with you!!

By Erick on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

Everyone ready for the Beta release? If so, let's give credit to this person. He must be doing hard work at developing this. Question, are you using the Papa Enjen?

By Hamza BHP on Monday, April 23, 2018 - 04:42

i would like to help you too. please send me a beta request if you want. previously i have been involved with a several popular beta programs and i'm a quite good of a beta tester,

By Joseppie on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - 04:42

We already have 22 game testers that have signed up. This is amazing. My friend who is on a different game developer company is surprise that it only took us less than two weeks to fill these positions. Actually he is kind of jealous. Ha ha. For some reason everyone always underestimate the visually impaired. I tell people all of the time that we are not handicapped. I tell them we are handy capable. After this game is completed everyone will know the power of the handy capable. Ha ha No we are not using the papa engine. We have created something special for this game that has never been done before. Sorry for not being able to explain more but we are still in development so please be patient. I told you guys before that this game will be the new standard for visually impaired and audio games from now on. Helping us be more independent and not having to have a sighted person assist us with starting the game is what we are going to accomplish. Plus it’ll be freaking fun to play Thanks

17 days. We are all filled up in 17 days. Holy crap. I knew I was hungry for this type of game. I did not know everyone else wastoo. I love it. My game developer friend who told me to start the game testing list early is now kicking himself in the butt. What can you do? Haters going to hate. Ha ha. We have 23 visually impaired gamers. And only two cited gamers. Power to the handi capable. You guys are awesome. This week I have hired the voice actor for the Circus Master. You guys are going to love it. Dr. bastard with a hint of jackass. Just the right amount of piss you off. Sorry guys but I guess is back to work for me. Will inform you more when I know more. Thanks

By Christel john on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - 04:42

Can’t wait.

By Joseppie on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - 04:42

Have you ever wanted to be a part of a game development team? Are you sick and tired of playing the same old games? Or have some ideas on how to make games more accessible? Now is your chance. I am looking for handy capable creative people who can help me with game ideas I already have.

If you are interested. Send me an email with your first name where you are from and what kind of hobbies and games your interested in. I am giving you the opportunity to help make better accessIble action games for all of us. I wish somebody would’ve done this a few years back.
You must be 18 years of age to help me.

Email me at Mentalvision.info@gmail.com

Thanks

I'm glad someone is doing something like this. I miss that game. It was both a killer of zombies and time. I'm excited to see what comes out of this. Thanks for sharing.

By Erick on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - 04:42

I miss Audio defense as well. So sad they had to remove the game. I can understand, but come on. Well I hope this game will be even better then audio defense. Oh this is going to be good!!

By Joseppie on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - 04:42

Three weeks countdown till I get a chance to test the gameplay for CMR. Will be a great birthday present. Development team has been working their butts off to make this the best immersive audio blind accessible action game ever. It is OK to have high hopes for this game because I do. They do not want to fail us. They understand now how important this game is to the Blind gamer community thanks to all of you who have commented on this forum. First part of the Circus Master’s voice recording completed. Voice actor did a fantastic job and made the character more deviant and realistic than I imagined. Just the right amount of piss you off. Ha ha
