We are pleased and excited to be opening the doors today on a completely new area on AppleVis, one that we hope will help to keep you up-to-date on the current status of accessibility on iOS and OS X.

As AppleVis has grown and evolved over the past 5 years, we’re aware that it’s become increasingly more difficult to keep track of what accessibility-related problems have been reported and discussed on here.

So, to make this easier, we are pleased to announce the launch of The AppleVis Accessibility Bug Database.

Since our launch in 2010, AppleVis has been the premier online community for blind and low-vision users of Apple hardware, software, and services. Our forums have hosted countless conversations around vision accessibility, with members asking questions, exchanging knowledge and expertise, and generally assisting each other with making the most of Apple technologies.

Update: Applications are now closed.

Are you passionate about the use of Apple products by blind and low vision users? If so, AppleVis may have an exciting volunteer opportunity for you!

We are currently looking to recruit 1 or 2 people with great knowledge, experience and expertise to join our small Editorial Team—to help us take AppleVis to the next level.
