I received an Aquatunes 5712 Bluetooth speaker for Christmas. It sounds really great and its a fantastic little speaker but I do have a question. Why does the speaker sound fine while playing content from ABC, CBS and YouTube etc.. but yet when I try to listen to VO, words are kind of chopped off. For example, I hear Eye gps instead of Seeing Eye Gps when I am touching the screen. Is there Anything that anyone can suggest? It would really be appreciated.

I am using a LG HBS850 Bluetooth headset with iphone 7 running iOS 11. When using voiceover or even if I have sound turned off I hear a beeping every time I touch the screen when I flick or tap or even slide my finger it beeps it does not make these noises when voiceover is turned off. Cannot figure out how to make it stop. Does anybody have any ideas?

I am going to buy a MacBook of some kind primarily so I can write music using apps such as protools or garage band. I am unsure however of which one I should buy. I'm don't really care about the size of the laptop as long as it works good with writing music. Any help would be appreciated.

The weirdest thing is happening. My Voiceover or other sounds/music will not play through my iPhone ^S speaker. However, it does work fine with bluetooth headphones and a USB speaker doc. The sounds and voice over speech also plays through the built-in speaker just fine if I am adjusting ringtones, etc, so I know the speaker is still working. But when I get out of say the ringtone selection screen and go back to the home page, nothing speaks.
Oh, I am using iOS V13.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? It's driving me crazy!!!

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and staying safe :-) I have an existing hi-fi system that I would like to add some kind of Internet streaming device to. I will be streaming from iOS and also my Mac.
The two options that I've come across our Cambridge audio products with the stream Magic app or blue sound with the blue OS app. Which one is more accessible across iOS and Mac blue OS or stream Magic? We're quickly getting tired of paying around $70 for Bluetooth headsets that stop working after two to three months of use. The most recent models we have tried have been the LG Tone Pro 870 and 1100. In both cases, and in several before these, it seems the build quality is poor.
We are llooking for recommendations of good Bluetooth headsets you have all used, regardless of price, that have solid build quality, even if they do not necessarily have the richest feature sets.
All advice is appreciated and welcome at this point.

Does anyone know if Apple makes an external keyboard for low vision users? I have an Apple keyboard that I use with my Mac, but I can barely distinguish the keys from the keyboard surface, and I can't read the individual key names at all.
Another approach would be to find high-contrast key caps to fit over the keys.
If Apple doesn't make high-contrast keyboards or key caps, can anyone recommend another vendor?

I am looking for a holster that will allow me to have access to my phone when I do not have a shirt pocket to place it in. I would like to be able to use the GPS aps without putting it in my pocket.
My wife is looking for something to allow her to use her phone with one hand. She only has the use of her right hand, and she is visually impaired, so she uses voice over.
Something that would keep the phone inplace while she is using it, would be helpful.

Hi all I have found over the last few days that my settings for my home button have gotten all messed up. I got my home button said one click home to clicks app switcher three clicks voiceover is off. Now for some reason they are all messed up for the home button does not even react. Is anybody else finding this happening after the 7.1 update. I have gotten online to do some research and I guess this is intermittent behavior but I have not found the solution any help would be appreciated.

I have noticed that with the latest version of iOS, the home app, and homepod that I can no longer access all of the homepod controls. I can access the settings and such, where you can name the device, turn Hey Siri on and off, etc, but I cannot access the play/pause, skip tracks, and disappointingly, the new alarm settings. Am I the only one experiencing this? Or, is there some gesture I'm not aware of that can bget me to this part of the controls so they are usable?

I received my HomePod Mini today. It is super awesome and sounds great, for the 5 minutes I had it working, then I broke it.
Basically, I went to the Home app, noticed I had 2 difference homes. The HomePod Mini was setup with a home account called "My Home 1" and my other HomePod Big was setup on a different home account called "My Home."
So I thought, I only need one home account, because I only have 1 home. I quickly deleted the "My Home 1" home account in my Home app and I am now sorry I did that.

in the last Apple event of this week I listend about HOmepot mini, and I am very curious about, and so, I would like to know if it would let me doing somethings that now I do with the Victor Reader, if it was so, it would be much better than Victor Reader. So, do you know if I could do the following three things?
1. If I am subscribed to some podcast w with Apple podcast in my Iphone, could I sliten them with the HOmepot as well?.
2. Could I lsiten radios arround the world and to be able to create a favourite radios list?.

Hi all, I haven't herd from @AnthonyM regarding the status on Hooke Audio and the status on the wireless earphones. I don't know how long it has been, but I would love to find out when we will be able to test out the earphones and play around with the functions of it's app. I wish I could email Anthony, but I cannot find a contact email. anyways, I hope their's an answer from him soon.

Hello, I was interested in looking up information on the previously mentioned hook first buy hook audio microphones. I sent them an email on their website and did not get any information back except a delivery subsystems email so I am assuming that they do not have the company anymore? Does anyone know anything about this or if thereās any other products that are similar. I currently on a set of wired Mikeās that you can plug-in and they are binaural. However, I am looking to find some that did what the first did with Bluetooth Does anybody know what happen with the company or the product?

Folks, I would like to tell you all that the HookeAudio website is still up. however, the app is no longer available on the AppStore. So with that being said, for those that still have the Hooke Verse, do you still use it under iOS 16 and later? it still shows up in my purchase history, but I don't think it can be re-downloaded anymore.

I have just purchased Amadeus Pro to use on my MacBook pro 2018. I am looking at the āFocusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd genā to hook up a microphone to the MacBook.
My question: Is there any accessibility issues with hooking up the Focusrite Scarlett Solo to my computer? I read about various software packages that come along with the audio interface.
Btw I was going to use this audio interface mainly to record acoustic instruments and vocals.

Hi everyone i am very new to this. i have been told by the Apple shop staff that you can set up an easy to use Hot spot and you can set up 10 of them? on my MacBook Pro. I was told how to set up one of these and played around with this one then set up one more. then i closed them two programs and went onto something else and when i tried to open the Hot spot item it just bleeped and said un activated and every where i looked to try and find out what i might have done nothing worked?

I am thinking of upgrading my router and am currently considering a couple of models in the Netgear range.
Does anybody have any experience with the companion iOS app that they provide for setting up and managing routers? If so, how accessible is it?
I have also considered an Asus router, so any comments on their companion app would also be welcome.
