Last week, I ordered a IPhone 6+ 16gb, it will arrive today. As I am completely new to I device and iOS, can someone guide me on how to get started, I know quite little bit the gestures, what I would like to know, is the recomended settengs and other things that might need such as apps, and any other important aspects which I should focus on.
I've just <a href = "http://www.macrumors.com/2016/01/13/bragi-dash-impressions/"> come across this review </a> of the <a href = "http://www.bragi.com"> Bragi Dash </a> wireless earbuds. According to reviews and the site, these earbuds allow for either passive noise cancelation, or can pipe in your surroundings, focusing on voice and even incorporating directional hearing.
Does anyone know if a Giraffe reader model works well with iPhone Se 2020?
I have an older giraffe reader. With my iPhone Se 2020, if I place it in the reader, it actually pushes the two side buttons, triggering the SOS function and calling 911.
So I need a new model. I looked at the web page here: https://www.giraffe-reader.com/
and it doesn't list the SE 2020. It lists a lot of older phones, but I'm unsure if it has a slot wide enough that the side buttons on my phone won't be triggered.
Hi all, so my provider here in the UK is offering me a fabulous deal to upgrade to the iphone 14 pro max. Aside of course from the huge screen lol, what else do totally blind people like/dislike about it? is it worth the leap, or just stay with the 13 pro? I like the fact i'd get more of my up next widgets on the screen like i did on the ipad mini 6 that my daughter now owns, so i guess i'd be getting a fantastic battery even for streaming on 4 or 5g and or wifi plus i assume great speakers? but what else?
I currently have a iPhone 6s. I have been very happy with it. In fact, I replaced the battery almost a year ago so I could keep going with it. However, I have been noticing a little sluggishness, enough to be a bit annoying at times, and so I am considering a new phone. I have been considering a second generation iPhone SE. I like the fact that it retains the home button and finger print ID. However, I was waiting until they squashed the VO sluggishness bug in IOS 14, as I figured that, even with a new phone, I might not see much improvement in VO performance until then.
The SE third GEN that I was going to buy on Amazon disappeared on me. So, I decided on a 12 mini. How much of a change is that going to be coming from an iPhone 8? I understand that I can only use face recognition to login. Also, is the. Side button something like the home button for getting out of apps? Thanks for any help.
Hello everyone. Do you all know of any Bluetooth headphones with minimal voiceover lag? The Jabra 65t's are not it for sure. Should I just go for the airpods? The headphones were a gift so I'm not exactly how much they were. Probably $100. Thank you all so much for the help. I really do not like the voiceover lag with Bluetooth and I don't want to buy headphones just to test it.
Does anyone know of a good bluetooth keyboard that can be used while traveling. I'm looking for a full-sized keyblard with a two-position switch so you can turn it off when you're not using it and know you've done so. Also, I want a full-sized keyboard, not just a keypad.
I do have the Amazon Basics model, but that doesn't fold up. I've heard of bluetooth keyboards that can fold up, but they are full-sized. Has anyone tried any of these? Any recommendations? Thanks.
After a little frustrating with voice dictation on an iPhone 8 plus, my roommate is possibly interested in a Bluetooth keyboard. It could be used for the phone only. However, it could be used for other devices too, like a laptop computer.
With these things in mind, what suggestions would you all have? Thanks in advance for any help you all can give.
Hello,
I am looking for a good pair of headphones. I have both an iPhone 4S and an iPad Mini, so I would like to have a pair with Bluetooth capability.
However, the catch is that I have to work with a lot of PCs at college which don’t have Bluetooth capability. So, I would like to know if anyone here knows of a good model of headphones.
I can still hardly believe it :-) , but suddenly the 6s Plus is 'here on my table'.
And now I have some questions – I'm sure there are people who know much more than me about this, and perhaps you can give me some advice? I'm hoping that others might also find it helpful.
Hi guys,
So I received my iPhone 6S for Christmas today, but I have a few questions before I go get my sim card and plan tomorrow.
1. If you have or haven't noticed, this is my ultimately first time using an iPhone. What new features will I see stepping up from my years of iPad usage?
2. I've heard that iPhones have some sort of vibration pattern feature. What is that about?
3. And finally, a basic generic question: How can I make the best of this device?
Thanks.
Hi everyone.
Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with any of the guitar-input products on the market? Would you recommend one, or steer clear of one? Do they all seem to be roughly comparable?
I am posting my question in this forum because I'm asking about hardware. But I know that al of the gear for running a guitar into an iOS device will inevitably have an accompanying app that you don't necessarily have to use. Nevertheless, I'd be interested to hear about experiences with the companion apps.
Thanks a bunch!
The Jamstik Studio is a fully functional guitar with a built-in midi pickup!Believe it or not, I saw this product just over a year ago inside a Facebook add. I kept track of it and was able to purchase the Studio Midi guitar recently! I am posting this up at Apple Vis, as accessibility to the guitars settings comes to us as blind users through the Jamstik Portal iOS app. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jamstik-portal/id1480724757
Hi everyone, hope you’re doing well. I have the latest generation iPad mini, I’m looking for a keyboard to use with it. I want the keyboard to be Bluetooth in about the size of oldschool Apple Bluetooth keyboards that used to have disposable batteries. Does anybody have any recommendations that would fit the bill? Thank you very much for your help everyone :-)
Today I bought a Stylus to write on my iPad and iPhone. I find I get overall better results then I do when writing with my finger. When VO is turned on I realized that I cannot add spaces without doing a two-finger swipe to the right. Does anyone know a workaround for this? By the way, one still can't draw a question mark and have it inserted.
Hi everyone. Recently my MyPassport external drive started taking a long time to be recognized by the system. I plug the drive into the port on the right side of my Mac, but it doesn't show up for quite awhile. I'm pretty sure the thing is still working since I hear it, and a couple weeks ago while at my parents' place I was able to play some music from my library. But the music kept skipping, so I immediately deleted some old backups from the drive. The trash took forever to empty, so I'm wondering what to do next.
