Hi
Do you can recommend some apps that I can use in connection with 2-step verification if I e.g. will login to Facebook with this feature activated there work with VoiceOver on iOS?
Facebook recommend Google Authenticator, but when I look on the old thread here on AppleVis:
https://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/utilities/google-authenticator
, I not can be sure if the accessibility working or not. The thread is last updated back in 2013.
Regarding other apps, e.g. LastPass, I not have an idea about the accessibility with VoiceOver on iOS, or if I can use LastPass in connection with 2-steps verification with Facebook.
Thanks in advance for your answer, and have a nice day.
Regards,
Anders

Two factor authentication
Hi, I’m not sure if I understood your post correctly but are you looking for an app that generates codes? And by codes I mean two step verification. I’ve never tried Google authenticator but on the App Store it has pretty bad ratings. I use a different one, I’ll post the App Store link.

This app works pretty well with voiceover. Hopefully that helps.
I tried google authenticator
Stay far away from that. I ended up having to get my email reset because I couldn't even create the stupid account to even get into my account in the first place. Would you post the name of that app? I normally don't click on links so i usually search for the name. Thanks.
Siobhan
Its called 2FA Authenticator. I used this app to set up two step authentication for my Amazon account. And it works pretty well.
Is it the one made by google?
If so, I had a hell of a time. There were two options. The first said scan barcode. but what barcode? The second said manual, so when I clicked, all I got was an unlabeled text field. If there's another ap ok, but if it's that one, how did you set it up? thanks.
RE: Recommended apps for 2-step verification in connection with
Hi
1. Thanks for the answer.
1.1. Yes, I means an app there can generate codes I can use when two factor verification is activated on my Facebook account.
2. OK regarding Google Authenticator and the accessibility.
3. Has anyone tried if 2FA Authenticator work with Facebook accounts?

Anders
Google Authenticator and 2FA Authenticator works
Hi again
Both Google Authenticator and 2FA Authenticator work with Facebook. The only problem that I have en the two apps was that I should enter my codes from Facebook. Here I must scan the QR-code that Facebook generates with my iPhones camera.
As I can see I fine can read the code from Google Authenticator when I should aprove a login.
Thanks for your tips/help.

Anders
Siobhan and Anders
Siobhan, no the app isn’t made by Google. The developer is called Two Factor Authentication Service Inc.
Anders, I don’t know if it works with Facebook. I’ve only used it for Amazon. I deleted my Facebook a while back. But it should work with any app That supports two-step verification.
Authy
Have you tried Authy? That's the one I use for 2-factor authentication and I find it is pretty accessible.
I've been using it for a couple of years and it works perfectly fine for me. It even has an Apple Watch app which is also pretty accessible.
Here's the link to the app in the iTunes App Store...

HTH!
I also suggestAuthy
I find authy to be very accessible as well.
It also offers back up options that are better than most other apps like it, so you don't need to worry about losing your credentials.
You can even protect the app with a pin code or fingerprint if you wish.
As for last pass, that is different, it's a password manager rather than an authenticator.
But last pass is very accessible, and I use it for all my passwords, including the one for my Authy back ups actually.
I also have quite a few blind friends that use one password, and like it a lot.
