The question says it. Issuing print statements in swift to track some debugging information but ... I would like to now where can I read the console.

This seems a really dumb question, but I couldn't figure out a way to post a new thread on forums.developer.apple.com.
Could someone walk me through the process on how to do it with VoiceOver on Mac?
It seems like they want me to search my question before asking. Even after I search, I couldn't find anything that lets me create a thread.
I also made sure I was logged into my developer account.

For awhile now, I've wanted to learn swift, so I could create accessible versions of the games I played with my family, as a child.

I recently discovered the amazing, free tutorials offered by hackingwithswift.com, and downloaded the "unwrap" app, which allows you to read &/or watch the tutorials on-the-go.

I completed the very first section, which discusses variables.

However, I want to make sure that the code I entered is correct.

Greetings. There is a Russian-language multiplayer dungeon game with a web client. A question to the programmer: how is it possible to make the screen reader read them automatically when new lines arrive in the client? What do I need to do?

To those of you who develop apps for Apple platforms and are totally blind, how do you draw your icons? Most of the symbols are available in the SF Symbols collection so those are not a problem. However I wonder how you are drawing icons to represent your apps in Finder, Launchpad, Springboard, Spotlight, and of course, the App Store. Do you request assistance from freelance artists? Do you just use AI? And how do you evaluate the final result?

I am new to Xcode and learning how to build my first apps. I am using Xcode 12.3.
Instead of in the simulator, I would like to test my app on my iPhone.

I connected my iPhone to my MacBook and selected it from the Scheme List and tried to run the app.
Then I get the following message:
"select a developer team in the signing & capabilities editor".

Does anyone know how I can do this with VoiceOver? I can't find such an editor anywhere.

As a App developer, I’m curious to know how much the AppleVis community is utilizing VoiceOver Recognition. It can be enabled in Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > VoiceOver Recognition, where you can turn on specific recognition features.

This feature enhances VoiceOver by detecting text in images or providing custom accessibility labels for elements that lack proper accessibility properties.

However, turning on Recognition, sometimes introduce new issues like announcing a label twice. Have you faced similar issues? if so kindly share your experience.

I am building up an Application For Android and ios. I worked with the Mac from my organization however now I change the Activity and in the following organization I dont have Mac System.

Presently the primary idea was to purchase a modest and utilized Mac to have the option to proceed with our work.

However, I am hesitant to purchase a Macbook for several Euro just to create and distribute the Application.

To the individuals who previously fixed that Issue.. How could you do this? What are options?

First, even though the accessibility can be rough on the edges, I completely understand now why pycharm is loved on mac, the experience is incredible with voiceover in the editor especially, getBrains understand that coders want to stop at each symbol and not at the beginning / end of a word like the systemwide option left / right arrow keys. It's just so awesome!

How can I learn this on iPhone it’s harder than like I can use a braille display and a Perkins but using braille screen input on iPhone is difficult how can I do this easy

I currently working on an app for airports and I want to let voice-over speak the iata airport code as individual letters. eg. J F K instead of trying to say it as a word JFK.
Is it even possible or necessary? Is there a gesture for this or should I do it in the code? How can I force voice-over to spell it?

I'm trying to localize an app in Xcode but I can't select languages anywhere.
I had previously managed to localize a simple app, but the method I used then doesn't seem to work now. Now I'm using Xcode 13.0.

So the chrome inspector is quite easy to use, searching elements, reading console logs, inspect network packets, etc. But idk on safari on mac I am quite lost. I don't even know what kind of answer I am looking for, I just don't understand the layout in general I think? Though it's very similar to chrome's. Sorry for one of my most vague message ever on this site.

Hi everyone,

I’m working on an app called Heartbeat (an app for communicating and sharing with your friends privately) and I’m finding it difficult to control VoiceOver’s behaviour when there is video playback.

Specifically, the setup flow has a video that plays automatically at the start of one of the steps. I use an AVPlayerView component and Voiceover focusses on the Pause/Play button and continues talk over the entire video.
