my dad is in his 80s and is losing his hearing. He has hearing aids, but the last pair was not paired properly with the iPhone. I have two questions. To pair the hearing aids, do you just select the hearing aids option in accessibility and look for the type of hearing aid? Also, does anyone have experience with the Live Captions beta option? It sounds like a great idea, but I wonder if it really works well.

I was wondering exactly how intuotive using iOS with a keyboard like the tiny folding iClever BK-03 is?
Unlike the Bk-05 which has navigation keys spasifically for iOS, (I didn't know that at the time I bought it...), the smaller one doesn't. It just has number ans letter keys.
none of the keyboard shortcuts, particularly when navigating using quicknav in a browser seem to work,.
Also when navigating by app as in using 4-finger swipe, VoKey+[ or Shift[ seems to work either. I have full keyboard navigation enabled.

hi, all. I have Audibel 1000 MFI hearing aids. I just got an iPhone SE 2nd generation, and I love the way they work with it. I've seen settings for using audio handoff to have the source switched seamlessly between multiple iOS devices. I can't get this feature to work. Is it necessary to open the battery doors before transitioning to another device? I'm a little confused. Has anyone succeeded in using this feature? TiA

I just started noticing that every time I use spotlight search to look for apps, I always have this line of text at the top of my screen that voiceover seems to ignore. People within my family always tells me that it’s there, but I don’t know how to remove it other than to power down my phone. The line of text usually consists of “FNFNFN” or “~~~.” Anybody experiencing the same? Is this a bug?

I've always wanted to try out the mag safe stuff, so bought an Apple charger. It's currently charging my phone at a very trickling percentage point. I had to remove the mag safe case because it wouldn't charge with it on. go figure since they are both from apple itself. It's getting incredibly warm plugged into the wall adapter which when I use the USBC cable that came with the phone, it's charging much faster. I don't even know if i'll keep it.

I am new to the Mac, I was wondering how to get my iTunes music onto my Victor Reader Stream. On Windows, I always treated it like a flash drive, with multiple folders. I am assuming it works the same way on the Mac. I'm not sure where my media files are, or how to access them to get them onto my Stream. Any help is appreciated. Thank you,

I’ve been hearing Leakes about the VR headset, the AR or VR headset, virtual reality headset that Apple‘s about to come up with, supposedly to replace the iPhone. Do you really think, they’re actually going to replace the iPhone? And if they actually did that, let’s say they did that, would it have anything to do with Accessibility? Because so far I’ve seen nothing regarding voiceover on those headsets or nothing like that i’m even hearing they’re gonna come up with glasses like that as well

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I notice when my mini jambox is connected voiceover seems to be more sluggish when swiping or just navigating in general. It's odd because it only happens when the jambox is connected. When I turn it off vo is fine. I have a 5s running 8.3 but I've also noticed this behavior in 8.2 as well.
Any ideas?

I have been researching accessories for the iPad Air 4th Generation (2020). Of course, one of the first accessories I considered was the new Apple Magic keyboard with track pad for the iPad. Unfortunately, I have been unable to get my hands on one of these keyboards, so I have done lots of research on the internet. So, other than the $299 price, I thought it sounded like a pretty decent keyboard... And, IF the trackpad works with VoiceOver the same way as it does on a Mac, then that would be worth the cost.
