Hi, I haven't posted on here in a long time but I just wanted to ask you lovely lot a question:
So, ever since about August I've been having an issue with my battery. Haven't got around to updating to iOS11 yet, so can't be that surely? But what's happening is my battery is draining incredibly quickly - at first I thought it was the counterfeit charger I was using at the time so went back to a normal apple cable.
I'm thinking of making a raised guide to lay over the iPhone screen that will make using the phone keypad quicker and easier. I used to have something like this on a microwave oven back in the 90s, just a sheet of plastic with holes punched out where the numbers were. A sighted person made it for me though.
Does anyone have ideas for materials that would work with the screen, and methods for constructing something like this without having to ask a sighted person for help?

I'm not good at writing reviews, so I'm not going to even try. I just got these delivered an hour ago and am about to dive in. I wanted to start a new thread where I could comment and hopefully others wil to. Questions are welcome.
They cost £329 in the UK. They arrived two days early.
I'm living alone right now, so i will be attempting the unboxing and setup with just my iPhone and Be My Eyes/AI.
I have recently bought a macbook Pro model 2012. It is such a great machine and would never think of going back to Windows again. I could save some money last few months and am thinking of investing in another gadget. here're my questions regarding the investment:
Hello all,
I am going to be switching from AT&T to T-Mobile and I had to order my iPhone7+. I am going to be receiving it this week. I am going to need to trade in my current AT&T iPhone 6+. What should I do to the 6+ before I trade it in to T-Mobile? I have performed an iCloud backup recently of my current phone. When I receive the new phone I think I am going to set it up as a new phone when I get it. What is the best way to get just my contacts back and not all the apps?
After I have seen the event from Apple 2018, I now consider to buying a new iPhone, and replace my iPhone 6.
I am blind, and therefore use the build in screen reader, VoiceOver. Now I am doubts about what iPhone I should buying. I look on iPhone XS, iPhone XR, or the model from 2017, iPhone 8.
As I can see, the iPhone 8 is inexpensive compared to iPhone XR and iPhone XS. The iPhone XR is the model from the 2018-series there is inexpensive compared to iPhone XS, But on the other hand iPhone XR is wider compared to iPhone XS.
Hi all
I am looking for a portable bluetooth speaker with voice prompts for power on/off and connection. I had one that recently quit that had a carabiner which was really handy. It was small enough to fit the palm of my hand. I think the brand was BlackWeb and it came from walmart but can't find it any longer.
Does anybody have any recommendations for a smaller speaker with voice prompts and some sort of belt or carabiner clip? Oh and did I mention not really expensive?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
Hello apple Vis,
I had a question on what kind of cooler you would recommend for my mac book. I have a Mac Book Air 11inch model.
I ask, because I do several things on my computer and some tend to run the machine pretty hot. So having something that can help keep it cool would be nice.
Thanks in advanced.

hey all.
I need some advice. what is a good docking station for things such as an Iphone or an Ipod and so on? I need one that does not have a lot to it. It just needs to have built-in speakers, and to be able to charge my iPhone 4s. And maybe, even have a cord that will hook into the headphone jack. That's not a dealbreaker though. I would like something on the cheap side as well. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I am in the market for a good scanner. I have a load of books which I need to scan and which are not available in electronic format. I'm using both FineReader Express and VuScan. Either a USB or Thunderbolt scanner (if such exists) is fine. Note I'm purchasing this through work, so for once I'm more interested in speed and quality rather than price.
Looking forward to suggestions,
Dónal
I have only my Iphone 12 mini, and am using it in all my work, phone calls, Listening to music etc etc,

Hello all my friends:
I Decided to purchase an Ipad to share my Iphone watching time.
but as i have some Hearing aids issues, i need an ipad with good speakers,
actually, i will not be able to purchase a new Ipad model, but what about the old ones?

I just bought a new iPhone 15 and I have it in an Otterbox case which is pretty thick. I would like wireless charger recommendations for it. I have seen a lot of MagSafe chargers but I don't think that they would work with that case. I have a wireless charger now with a kickstand that I really like that I used on my iPhone 12 Mini, which also had an Otterbox case on it. But it won't charge my new phone for some reason. I think it might be because this phone is larger. As you can probably tell, I don't know much about this subject and would like some advice.
I get very frustrated using the on screen keypad on my iphone so i wanted to ask the applevis community for your recommendations on which external keypad i should buy for my iphone.
If you can recommend the make and approx cost of keypade you like, that would be a huge help to me.
Some of the questions i have are as follows:
1. do u prefer a blue tooth device or one that requires a lightning or usbc cable connector?
2. does the model you like have a physical on/off switch & if not how do you turn it on & off?
Finally, if you recall one of my last posts, I got a nice deal on an ipad pro 4th generation.
So, i'm looking for a nice slim keyboard case for it, but my experience has not been nice with 2 options, the Zagg Pro keys (which has not a trackpad) and the Goojodoc a1890.
I'm thinking about getting the AirPod 2 to use with my iPhone XR. I never had the old AirPods and thought that this might be the time to fish in now that the AirPods have "hey Siri" enabled.
I can't decide whether or not it is worth getting the AirPod that includes the wireless charging case along with a wireless charging mat or just get the AirPods with the normal carrying case. The price adds up when one adds the charging mat to the upgrade for the special case.
