Questions about the life proof case for iPhone five

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has used the life proof case with their iPhone five. I have one, and have been reading reviews, but thus far haven't actually stuck my phone in there. So, because I'm lazy and because I can't possibly be the only one with these questions, I'm posting the following: 1. Have you noticed any difficulty performing touch screen gestures with the life proof case? Some reviewers have complained that the touch screen becomes difficult to interact with while in the case, and I'm wondering how this seems with VoiceOver gestures and with apps like Fleksy. What are your thoughts? 2. How is the speaker and call quality? Noticed any distortion with the microphones? How about with the speaker? Have you had any trouble with the proximity sensor not registering? 3. Anyone tested out the waterproof aspect of this case? I'm not planning to take mine swimming or anything like that, but it might be nice to be able to look at websites or listen to tv shows while in the shower. I also have a hot tub and, while I'm not planning on letting my phone be submerged, it would be nice to have peace of mind if it happens to get splashed or if I want to do something like take a call without having to climb out. 4. Does anyone have an additional screen protector and the life proof case on their phone? How does this affect the touch screen? Right now, I'm using your basic cheap purple case from Microcenter and of course have put on a screen protector, as I touch my screen with all manner of sticky hands and because I often toss my phone in my pocket with my keys and don't want the actual screen to be scratched. It would be nice not to have to peel off my existing screen protector and have wasted the money I spent on it. Hopefully, someone on here will be able to answer these questions. I appreciate your taking the time to read and post. Best, Megan

I can't speak to the Life Proof case, but I would recommend one to you that, while I wouldn't take it for a bath, is supposed to be water and dirt resistant. Not only that, but it'll save you nearly $30, and I know it is a good case. If you want to check out another case, I would recommend the Case-Mate Tough Xtreme. It has a snap-on screen protector, and then the phone goes into a military-style rubber outer case. It can be a little tough to get it into the case, but it is going to give you a great grip on your phone and, best of all, all the ports are protected. If you want to read more about it, you can find more info at: http://www.case-mate.com/iPhone-5-Cases/Case-Mate-iPhone-5-Tough-Xtreme-Cases-2294_7209-opt.aspx I know you said you already had the Life Proof case, but I wanted to throw this one out as an alternative that I know works really well! Hope this helps someone, at least! :)
