Hi, I tried this game for a short while a few weeks ago but found it quite frustrating then because i could not read other peoples stats or that of pets and because of the log htingy. But now that I read others get by without that info I will play the game again. Maybe I am too perfectionistic.
I was thinking: might taking a screenshot and scanning that with seeing eye make it readable and if so how do you actually make a screenshot on ios?
Thanks in advance for the info
Greetings, Anouk,

By Paige on Saturday, May 11, 2019 - 21:11

Yeah the issues are a little annoying, but hopefully they get fixed soon. They replied to someone on Twitter but that was a while ago so it might take them a few updates. Sadly taking screenshots and using Seeing Ai doesn't work because I'm pretty sure the stats are bars that are filled in a certain amount, not written percentages, so when I tried it did the same thing voiceover does.

You can actually start doing activities at age 3, but you can only talk and spend time with members of your family until age 6. Then you can study for school, as well as complement and insult your family members and ask them for money. Once you grajuate elementary school you can do even more things, like go on dates and join social media. Once you grajuate high school you can do anything, as long as you have enough money/stats.

It seems the only way to guarantee the developers see your feedback is to leave a review on the App Store. I’ve done it myself, and I got a developer response. All of the other reviews have gotten developer responses as well. Make sure to tell them about the relationship bars and how they can be improved. I said they should put percentage is next to the bars.

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Yeah I was thinking about that too. But I'm pretty sure it will be ok, because instlife's features will be merged into bitlife, and not the other way around. If bitlife's features were being put into instlife I'd be more concerned about it.

By DMNagel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Might delete it later on.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

They said that the interface will not change. Only Instlife’s features will be added to BitLife. they said that accessibility is important to them and they will make sure that it is compatible with voiceover. That’s a relief. I didn’t want it to become inaccessible.

By Kristen on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

What exactly are the feature sfrom Instlife? I've never heard of that game.

I've been playing mainly The Life Simulator and am not going back to BitLife until the relationship bar thing gets resolved, TBH.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

features like being able to create businesses, be in war, and other features that bitlife does not have yet.

By Ornella on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I think bitlife would be more interesting if they add those features and on a side note has anyone been able to file a lawsuit against someone? I'm asking because I played yesterday a woman attacked me for calling the police I was able to sue her but when my x boyfriend smashed my car and I tapped on the sue button I got a pop up saying there's no one to sue right now. I'm just wondering if that's a bug or how that really works.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I think you can only sue if someone harmed you. For example if someone assaulted you you can sue them. Also if you get a surgery and it is botched you can sue the surgeon. Also if you get fired from a job, you can sue the company.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

After talking with the developers, they said that the relationship bar issue should be fixed in the next update which should be out in a day or two.

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Awesome! I knew they would probably fix it eventually because they were responding to tweets about accessibility. I will probably play a lot more after it's fixed, since it will be a lot easier to get some of the ribbons that are based on family relationships.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

It will be fun insulting my siblings and seeing how low the relationship drops. As a side note has anyone gotten famous yet? I have

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I got famous a few times, and the second time I bought myself a ranch and some horses, then got clobbered to death by one of them.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I am trying to use the generations feature to get to $1 billion.

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

That's a great idea and I'm going to try it. I was trying to think of a new challenge to try, so thanks

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

My family is 2596 years old at this point. What I do is I always play as a male because men are fertile their whole lives. I always have a child when I am 80 years old. I use the dating app to find a 20 to 29-year-old woman, then I have children and when I have a son, I leave everything to him. To raise your net worth, you should buy expensive houses, they should cost more than $1 million. Then when you die you click continue.
Be very careful with this part because you could mess everything up with simply clicking the wrong button. Press continue as child. If you had more than one child be careful with this part as well. You don’t want to continue as the child that you didn’t leave any money to. As soon as you click on the child that was in your will, it will show that you are in the life of the child you continue as. Then you will be able to live as your child and repeat the process.
Good luck!

My characters have gotten famous twice, once, he was a reporter who was world-renowned, and finally got fired at age 95, which caused him to snap, and he attempted murder and died in prison at age 103 or 104. The second time, my character ended up being a famous singer and eventually his fame waned when he was about 80 years old. Oh, I forgot to mention, the reporter ended up having about 10 or 11 kids, I wanted the generation to keep going, so I had him keep trying until he got a son, I think he was about 65 years old by then, lol.

By Ornella on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I played yesterday and I sued the surjan for botching the facelift then I went to another surjan because obviously the last one refused to see me then he botched another surgery and I sued him. When I went to do something else both of them refused. In that case I think they should've had another surjan because I couldn't do anymore plastic surgery. Lol

By DMNagel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

We can now finally see the relationship status with our people. Just remember that you will need to double tap on their profiles.

By Kristen on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Ah neat. The relationship info is a bit buried (Have to do like 2 taps to get to it - tap on the person's name, then tap to veiw their profile), but it's a start! Can even see their "Money" or "Religous" percentages. Neat.

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Yeah. You can even see the condition of a house you're buying to make sure it's good, I forgot that was an option.

By DMNagel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

You can see how crazy people are before dating them.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

They put percentages next to all of the bars. Even pets.

By Ornella on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Finally we got the update we wanted. Now I'm not sure how they will make the crimes accessible.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

It’s only burglary that’s not accessible because it is a mini game.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

When did you submit it? It doesn’t appear on the list of reviews. What did you title it?

By Lexi on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

In reply to by Joel

I submitted it a couple days ago. I titled it accessibility and suggestions.

By Kristen on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

So I started up a new life with this game now that the relationship bars are accessible.

To be honest, I'm having a harder time getting back into it now that I've started The Life Simulator. The modal window issues with BitLife (where you can still read the content underneath the modal) make it so slow to get anything done at times. Now I have an extra hurdle of checking the profiles for the relationship bar values and then searching and finding the Close/Back buttons so I can get back to the main screen. It is just a slower pace compared to The Life Simulator that I'm struggling to not get impatient with it now.

Has anyone actually contacted BitLife regarding the modal window issues? I'd be totally on board with this game again if I could do the same two-finger swipe up to get to the "Close" button as I can do in The Life Simulator, as it makes it a whole lot more smooth to move around (and not having to try to decipher which bits of text are in the window you're currently on and which are on the window behind it.)

By Moopie Curran on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I'm really enjoying the bitlife update! I can't really get into life simulator, I think I would be able to get into it more if I could add custom people like I can in bitlife, its just more fun that way to see what combinations it comes up with. For example, in one of my bitlife games, one of the medical doctors I visited was named after a meteorologist on tv, maybe I'm a nerd, but I just like the aspect of custom people.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I think that bitlife is better, especially with the new update. There’s more things to do in BitLife and it has a smoother interface. Bitlife is faster. In life simulator, completing one life takes forever. In BitLife, it doesn’t take that long because you age a year every time.

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I feel like maybe people like life simulator because it has more stuff to do, but to me bitlife is way more interactive and life simulator is more just pressing buttons

By DMNagel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I like bit life more because people can actually interact with you also. You don't always have to be the one to start interactions. People claim that life simulator is more realistic but, i beg to differ. Firstly, things are just way too expensive. Secondly, in real life there is no such thing as space hotels and getting younger. Sure, bit life has humor, but life sim is down right crazy. Don't get me wrong, they're both good games in there own way.

By Ornella on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I like both games but bitlife is more realistic and slower and life simulater is fast for just clicking week by week.

By Kristen on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I'm not sure how you can say BitLife's UI is smoother? I agree that the gameplay is more interesting with more interesting interactions and the life goes by faster, but the fact that the modal windows are improperly coded in BitLife makes the UI seem extremely clunky and hard to navigate. Not smooth at all. (That and the popup window that pops up to say the outcome of an action is difficult to find on first try ... I usually just end up closing it by tapping somewhere randomly and then reading the outcome in thel og.)

With The Life Simulator, I can at least easily access the 'Close' button for the modal windows without having to guess which of the multiple Close buttons on the screen is the one for the top window.

Both games are great, TBH, I just find the UI on The Life Simulator faster to navigate through. The Life Simulator has more of a feel of a clicker game and I'm having fun at the moment trying to get all the achievements.

I need to get through a full life on BitLife now that the relationship bars are accessible, but it does take longer to try to read all the bars of all the people youa re related to each year to make sure they haven't dipped below 100%.

By DMNagel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

If you're going to try keeping 100 with all people, you're going to be in for a long and hard game. I'll admit i never do that.

By Tiffany J. Kim on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Hi, so now that the percentages for everything are read out, I have tried this game again and I had some real estate questions. I am assuming that the higher the condition bar, the better the home will be and the more value one would get for selling it. The reason I ask is that sometimes I can find homes for 100% that aren't necessarily going to be the multi-million dollar options. At what point in a home's condition is it just not worth the purchase? Also, will my net worth increase as my homes increase in value when I look under Assets and go to View Finances? Or will I only know how wealthy I am once I actually decide to sell the homes in question? Thank you for any insight.

By Ornella on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I agree with Krystan. Since they fixed the bars to read out the percentage its more slower and clunky. I tapped on the saloon and spar and I thought they removed the option to give a massage but I had to wait for that to show up. I like that the numbers are next to the option instead of clicking on the person's profile to read it out. But life simulator will be the win for me because its faster. Did anyone notice a boost in this game? Like when I went to the library and came out I swiped to the smarts and saw boost then I tapped on it and I got doubled smarts. I think its random though. I only saw that it popped up once.

By Kristen on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

I've played a bit more and i still think it's a bit clunky. I've reduced the amount I check on the relationship bars, at least. I usually let it go overy other year before I do the 'Spend Time' thing once a relationship is at 100%.

I'd also be curious to know what the condition percentage does for real estate. I found some houses with more bedrooms that were lowre condition percentage that I hesitated on buying because I had 0 idea if that did anything or not.

I also wonder - are you technically living with your parents until you buy a house of some sort? I see the things in the log about siblings moving out, but I'm never sure even if I have a house if I've technically moved out.

By Paige on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Yeah trying to keep the relationship bars at 100 is too much effort. I usually check every two years and as long as it's above 90 I'm good. And the real estate thing, I'm not 100 percent sure but I think it will show up in your networth even if you haven't$haven't sold it, but not your bank balance. And I think you're right about the condition thing, at least that's how I think of it. I can try to test that more. And yeah the moving out thing is kind of confusing.

By Ornella on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

When you buy a house you're out of your parents house. But it doesn't show that you moved out. I saw a house at 82% and I don't know if its good condition or bad. I still bought it. And how the game is so clunky I was going to take my time and do things but its frustrating me so I just play any how I feel and keep aging up and when ever there's a pop up I treat it accordingly.

By KE7ZUM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Alsohow do you pass the driver test? I can't really figure that one out. I can't see " what sign is this" etc.

By Joel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

So the higher the condition is the more you’re net worth increases every year. your net worth is important if you want to do the generations challenge. It will show that your net worth has increased in your finances but not in your bank balance. For example, a house with the condition of 100 will increase your net worth more than a house with the condition of 90
And about the driving test, usually I just pick what sounds like an actual sign.

By DMNagel on Thursday, July 11, 2019 - 21:11

Just look at the different answers for a question. Every question have its own set of answers. Try to memorise or write down these sets of answers. When you see a question with the same set, you will know which answer to choose.

Hopefully this doesn't get me into trouble. This game works better with the beta of IOS 13.
