iOS and iPadOS
I just got my new iPhone 5 yesterday. Though I have had an iPod Touch 4G for a while, I am totally new to the phone part of the iPhone.
I am wondering, does the iPhone, with VoiceOver on, automatically read the caller ID of someone calling or do you have to find their number on the screen before it will read it? If it does read it, is it easily hearable over the sound of the ringtone? If it is not, there a way quickly and efficiently to mute the ring tone and have caller ID read aloud? Basic question in all of this: How do I most quickly and easily have my caller ID read when a call is coming in?
