Update on the Lite Version
New update
Not unplayable, just needs patience.
May Be Much More Accessible
I read on Audiogames.net that Silversword is much more accessible now. The developers added a way for you to doubletap on any square on the map and hear your coordinates so it makes navigation easier. It may be worth looking at this again to see if the rating should be updated.
New update from July 2015
- added location info if VoiceOver is enabled, you can show it by using the "magic tap" (double tap with two fingers on the screen)
- certain quest items are "NO DROP" now, you can not drop them (still they might be lost if you delete the character carrying them)
- corrected a bug that allowed equipping different kinds of throwing weapons at the same time
- some other minor bug fixes
I have played this multiple
I have played this multiple times and definitely, the rating for this is quite inaccurate. In my view it should be minor accessibility issues but easy to deal with.
Reevaluating
I'm wondering about this one.
The location info seems fine, however I do wonder about the battles and how reviewing messages works, indeed I think a bit more info on this one with the new coordinaates system might be nice sinse there is the potential for an awesome game there.
What might help
What might help the coordinates system is if the developer added in descriptions for the rooms. Like: "You stand on the west wall of Castle Cranbourgh, looking out over the castle..." So people like me don't get lost. It has potential, it just needs to get there.
Objectives
My problem isn't the moving. It's the objectives. And what and where I should go next.
Objective button
Perhaps there the objective button can tell us that we should go to barrix for train or something like that.
