I have noticed that the advent of iTunes 12.1 for 64-bit Windows operating systems has made iTunes more accessible again, and that it has happened just this week. But it's still not perfect.
I am a JAWS For Windows user (Version 15) on a Dell laptop empowered with the Windows 7 Ultimate operating system. Just this morning, after downloading and installing iTunes 12.1, I did find that I can access my iTunes Library again and can even add files to it. But unlike Ver. 11 and prior, I am not able to edit metatags after hitting Ctrl+i. In other words, I used to be able to edit the name of a song, the name of the artist, tell iTunes what track number the song is in whatever album I had specified, and sort material accordingly. (Much of what is in my iTunes Library is not commercially purchased, but consists of tutorials, work-related training recordings, and other things that don't naturally fall into an "album" framework.) I can see these metatags, but they're all labeled as "Read Only," and I cannot seem to alter them using JAWS.
Is this functionality returning to the 64-bit version of iTunes 12.1? Is there a way to edit these "Read Only" data that I am unaware of?
Thank you.

JAWS Webinar
In late March, Freedom Scientific is hosting a training webinar on JAWS and iTunes. In the past, these have been quite informative. I am hoping they will address this issue with either a working solution, or, an indication of whether they can provide a solution. Most of the iTunes accessibility issues have been the result of Apple's coding practices. I have a feeling this will be the case. Still, I am hopeful a solution is forthcoming and sooner than later.
iTunes accessibility
The problem is not of iTunes accessibility if you try another different screen reading will see it.
