iOS and iPadOS
Hi,
I updated my iPhone 5 last night to the latest IOS. When the phone restarted, the voice over voice sounded off. It's tinny and a bit garbled. I tried turning the compact voice feature on and off, and there's no significant difference. I'm running the enhanced voice feature as well. I tried using the other English voices, and they sound much better. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? Thank you.

They always say it was passed
They always say it was passed on to x y or z. so I guess we'll see in a minor or major update weather this has or has not been fixed, or if the nuance folks have ignored us, yet again.

I actualy tried it on my husban'ds phone (we both have iPhone 5s), and his seemed to be fine. So, it seems to vary even from same model Iphone to another.

Hi Helaine.
I would recommend going to: apple.com/feedback and filling out the form, explaining the problem you're having with VoiceOver. They're always open for suggestions, and I actually said to them it would be great if they added more voices for VoiceOver users to choose from.
In the meantime, I would recommend using the Karen Australian voice. She's very friendly and pleasant when it comes to doing certain things like browsing the app store, listening to emails, etc.
Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to reply to my comment.
