iOS and iPadOS
I'm about to transfer from an iPod Touch 4th Gen to a 5th Gen, and would appreciate help with one aspect of this change. I'd like to be sure that all my existing Downcast podcast content is backed up to iTunes to make sure it all then appears on the 5.
Could someone more adept in these matters please tell me what I should have set or selected within Downcast , iCloud or iTunes to make sure this transfer is a smooth and happy one!
BTW, I'm not an iCloud user either, perhaps this is the way I should be going?
Any and all advice gratefully received.

I would export them to folders, copy them to my computer, via the iTunes share feature, then import all of them back in to down cast via the import feature. That's the long rout but that's the only way ic an think of this early in the morning.
