Hello:
I recently jailbroke my ipod touch 4th gen running IOS 5.0.1 (jailbreak was untethered). I have had a problem where spring board will crash after rebooting the device. I am presented with the error message, and have two options to hit "OK," or "Restart" (as in to restart springboard). If I hit the restart button, springboard will reload, but I am unable to interact with items at the bottom of the app screen. For example, I am able to open the app store, but am unable to select the tabs at the bottom of the screen such as update or search. Visually, on the screen, I have been told that the icons and items on the screen have shrank to only take up about a third of the screen, and the rest of the screen is black. I have tried to restart the Ipod, by turning it back on and off again, respringing the device using respring, and to force the error to reoccur by using up the available ram. Unfortunately, I was forced to restore the Ipod to its factory settings, and to restore from a back up to fix the problem which left me without a jailbreak. So, has anyone encountered this situation, and what have you done to resolve it? I would really like to jailbreak my device, but obviously need to solve this problem first.
Thank You,
Matt
