Spotify no longer works using the Amazon Alexa speakers. Anyone else having trouble?

Starting on December 25. No matter what I try. My Amazon echo speakers will not play any playlists that I have made. And no playlists that are made by other users.

However, it does play Spotify original playlist.

If I try saying, shuffle my ultimate music playlist, she will say, here is Indie hits. Or here is ultimate boy bands. These are all Spotify generated playlists. And nothing remotely to what I asked for.

If I say play my anime favourites on Spotify. She says here’s top anime hits from Spotify. Which again he’s not my playlist. But rather a Spotify only playlist.

I’ve tried for over two months. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my echo speakers. I’ve even replaced my speaker. I checked for updates. Changed and renamed my playlist names. Tried new ones and deleted old ones. Nothing.

Are you guys having the same issues? If so, please reach out to Spotify. Because they’re convinced that it’s only me. But I asked three of my friends, and about five or 10 Internet strangers. And they all cannot access their own Spotify made playlists.

Thanks for any help guys.

It will play anything that's been premade by Spotify itself, but any custom-made playlist Spotify will simply say, "I cannot find the playlist (name of playlist) on Spotify". A shame, that ... 😞

OK, so apparently this is not entirely true for everybody. I have a couple of friends who have made their own playlists, and they say they can play them through an Alexa device without any issues. So, I'm not quite sure what is going on with Alexa, or Alexa devices. Perhaps it has something to do with title length, or whether or not the playlist was created by yourself, or a third-party, or what? However, it works for some people, and not for others.
Go figure ...
