Our Samsung TV is making me insane

Hi.
So we, just were given this as a gift. A Samsung smart tv.
I don't have any problem with the fundamentals of a tv ui, or the screen reader, or the navigation. I'd honestly give Samsung a 10 out of 10, it's good! Cause the first setup was done in family I don't know if the onboarding is 100% accessible, but in any case my sister registered my Samsung account on my iphone in Smart Things. Everything is fine, voice guide enabled.
But how the heck can I stop the autoplay of a random tv show thing even after reboot of the tv? The pause button obviously doesn't work hence me asking here. Thanks god that the default of this sr are quite good as we have audio ducking so I still can use it, but this is so frustrating, I've tried everything and just can't pause this thing. Muting mutes everything including the screen reader. Plus probably because of software error of to many things trying to control the tv at once or a user error the remote got unpaired so I'm stuck using explore by touch in Smart things to press on the simulated buttons. I enabled the accessibility mode and didn't really like it for my current needs so disabled it (this isn't the same as Voice guide).
Any help, please, will be greatly appreciated and will prevent me from unjustified anger at my new forcefully given :) expensive tech toy.
Aside this? Samsung, I saw the apple tv, and I much prefer yours, at least it's not just a box. Granted we're the worst clients for a smart tv as a family as we'd be happier with a tv grade monitor on a connected with a real computer on windows, but anyways.

When you say auto playback of a video, do you mean while on your home screen? Or do you mean if you're actually playing a TV show or a movie or whatever, you can't pause that?
I asked because, as someone who's got a fire stick device, there's actually an option under settings, that allows us to have those little Video attraction screens (apologies, gaming term reference) either auto play with full audio and video, autoplay with video only, or not auto play at all.

Just wondering if your TV has something like that as well?

HTH.
