Hello,
I use a Spanish style layout for my keyboard. The command which I previously used to go back to the previous page, cmd plus left bracket, no longer works in the new Mac OS update. It was also an issue in the beta, which I hoped would be resolved. I took a look at earlier beta builds before going back to Big Sur because of stability issues with certain apps which I absolutely have to have. I had hopes that this issue would be resolved, but no such luck.
So, is there a way I can make cmd + left arrow go to previous page? This would be a lot more intuitive than cmd left bracket, and that is also actually listed on the Apple web site under Safari commands, but doesn't work with Voiceover, so guessing there is a conflict somewhere. If anyone has an idea of how I can make that shortcut work, the help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Did you figure out a solution?
I'd also like to change some of the default Safari shortcuts. Did you figure out a way to do it?
This should work
To create a custom keyboard shortcut for Safari, you can follow these steps in the Keyboard area of the macOS System Settings:
This custom shortcut should override the existing one.
