The Brave browser from www.brave.com comes with a built-in ad blocker. It's also much more stable than Safari and VoiceOver. I no longer get busy busy busy messages with every page I load. It's pretty sad that a third-party browser works better than Apple's built-in offering, but we've established long ago that Apple is perfectly happy to allow Mac VoiceOver to stagnate. I use Brave on all my devices except iOS and I couldn't be happier. I'd use Brave on iOS, but there's not much point since Apple forces the use of the Safari engine with all browser apps.
