Hi. Can anyone tell me whether the whole to insert the sim ejection tool is to the left or the right of the sim tray on the IPhone 6S. I'm guessing this will be the same on the IPhone 6 so if anyone can help please. I'm trying to insert the nano sim by feel which isn't easy and I don't want to scratch my shiny new phone. It's possible to feel to marks, one on each side of the tray so not quite sure.
Apple Hardware and Compatible Accessories
Hi all. I bought a 9V battery to use with my recently purchased, StandScan pro. Unfortunately no matter what I did I couldn't get the lights to come on. Have I forgotten how to install a battery? Lol. If you can help I'd appreciate it. The on thing I don't see in this, is that little whire you clipped onto the prongs of the battery itself. Any advice would be fantastic. Thank you.
So I thought I would start a bit of an interesting conversation. Does anyone on this form actually know how to install a screen protector on an iPhone yourself? If you do, how do you apply them successfully? From what I understand, the new screen protectors that are being designed with the latest iPhone having an alignment tray. So I am wondering what is the best way to do it? If you do not install them yourself, do you typically have somebody installed them at say a cell phone store for you?
I just ran across this interesting post about Bluetooth latency which compares the AirPods Pro with previous generations:
https://stephencoyle.net/airpods-pro
The numbers clearly show that Apple has managed to improve latency with each generation of AirPods and that their performance is significantly better than typical Bluetooth headsets. This is the first time I've seen actual latency measurements, something most people ignore when reviewing these devices.
Hi. I noticed something cool the other day. I have my Airpods connected to my Mac and also my phone. I was sitting with the case and I flipped it open. My Mac was asleep, and I had an app open on my phone watching tv. When the case opened, I got an alert from my phone, with the charging status of the airpods as well as the case. I thought it was neat.
Hi All!
I was referred to this amazing site by one of your members Justin (drummer0608)
I myself am not blind, but I have invented a product that blind iOS users like Justin are getting really excited about. He urged that I share here.
I have some thrilling news to share with all of you Aple tech enthusiasts and advocates for Apple's assistive technology. The ARx AI wearable talking camera, a state-of-the-art device designed to enhance real-world interactions for individuals with visual impairments, will soon be available for the Apple platform!
Hello everyone who cares about the MFi hearing aid topic:
I understand that iOS 13.1.1 which is a primarily security related software update has introduced significant issues for MFi hearing aids. In speaking with my audiologist she informs me that Starkey reports their Thrive app crashes on iOS 13.1.1, and connectivity to the aids for streaming is unstable. She also tells me some manufacturers, including Phonak, have lost connectivity altogether.
I encourntered this issue when I upgraded to iOS 9.2.
Whenever I have to restart voiceover, my bluetooth keyboard stops working. It would work every once in a while and stop as soon as I restart VO again.
The issue is only when voiceover is on. M Currently, when VO is turned on, the keyboard is on and only works while using navigation. WHen I am in a text field, the letter keys do not work. I make sure quick nav is off while typing and this still occurs.
When I turn off voiceover, I can type in the text field and when I turn on VO all the text shows up.
I own an iPhone Six plus and thus far, had no issues with the phone up until the latest iOS update. I applied the latest version of iOS last week and since then, I have noticed that my battery is draining more quickly. Previously, with normal use, I find the battery power to be around 40 percent by evening time. Now it is giving me the low battery warning badge around the same time. I do not have any explanations for this.
Anyone else experiencing the same?
Hi,
I was just reading about wireless MIDI for IOS, especially the Yamaha md-bt01, which prompted this question. Does anyone have any recommendations for either wireless or other MIDI or audio connections for IOS? I was considering getting the Yamaha Mobile Sequencer for my iPhone 5S, and using my Yamaha P95 digital piano to send notes into my phone.
I also have lots of questions about doing such things as storing music data on possibly iCloud, DropBox, or somewhere outside my phone to keep the internal memory free. I'm unsure what o ask, however.
Thanks.
I'm finding some flaky behaviour with my keyboard and IOS 10. So far I've had the functions keys on the top row stop working including my inability to navigate back to my home screen, issues when typing in text fields in twitter ranging from no key presses being repeated to simply hearing the word period despite the text being input . The control and left and right arrow commands do not appear to work in text editing fields either. I"m on an iPhone 5SE. Has anyone else experience this erartic behaviour since upgrading?
Hi I'm a new account here but have been reading everything on here for years, I have a question and I'm not sure where to post it but I'm trying to talk my mum into helping me buy the 9.7-inch 32GB 2018 iPad (came out March 2018) for Christmas and I wonder if it's worth buying, I do have vision (I'm legally blind) and am learning braille so it would need to work with my Edge 40 braille display.
who will be eating the I pad 6th generation instead of the new I pad mini?
Just about to buy an IPad Air 2 for my son with the largest memory. Any reviews welcomed please.
My sons totally blind & is used to Apple products as he has an IPhone 6 plus.
Presuming this will be just as accessible as his phone?
Any reviews, information and tips greatly appreciated
Thanks
