Hi all,
We are the developers of an app named Noted, productivity app focusing on audio and note-taking for lectures, conferences or meetings.
Being inspired by Apple and friends, we have implemented full VoiceOvers, accessibility custom actions and rotors support for our app. Tested with a few visually impaired users of our app and they recommended us to post here for more feedback.
Would someone be able to help us out to make sure our app is good enough for everyone?
We can provide promo-codes to unlock the app for testing, appreciate any help and feedback at all.
The app can be found here:

Many thanks and sincerely from the Noted Team.

Thank you so much to everyone
Thank you so much to everyone who got in touch, we have reached our first round of testers limit. We set a limit so we can quickly address initial feedback collected, before continuing a larger group.
We will be sending promo codes out in the next round so appreciate any more testers willing to help!
Million thanks.
count me in!
Hi,
Count me in! I already sent you the email, would love to test app out to further enhance accessibility.
Is the subscription optional?
Hello again,
I forgot to ask is the subscription optional? I looked into the app and it offers it as an inapt purchase, so was just wondering.
How to ...
Hi,
just downloaded the free version for 5 notes. How can I move the audio to the linked text or acutally the other way round: I wrote text while I was recording. Now I want to use the written text to navigate in the audio. How does that work? Double taps simply move the cursor on top or to the end of the text field as it actually is supposed to work.
I know some similar apps for the Mac. In those I need to use VO + Space on the text to move the play head to the wanted spot in the timeline.
All in all it's nice to hear everything clearly labeled in the app. That's really VO friendly.
Thanks for your support and
all the best
Jürgen

question
Hi,
Question: I know the basic version offers 5 notes, but is the promo code for an unlimited notes? also, Is this the full version? because I also saw the free version which offers a subscription, which I really don't need. besides, I do quick recordings.
Hi,
Hi,
I'm a university student and I think this app could be useful for my note taking, therefore I'd be willing to test in the next round, because it looks like I'm a bit late to the party for the first one, but in case I'm not let me know. I have already downloaded the iOS version, and gave it a quick look. So far it seems to work pretty well with VoiceOver. I only noticed un unlabeled button in the notebooks screen which seems to bring up a list of tags. Also, when flicking through the settings screen, almost every option is duplicated, so that one element is the actual button for that option or section of the settings, and the one right next to it is just a text element which is the label of the button.
For my use case, though, I the Mac version is the most suitable, so I tried the Mac version too. I don't know if you have plans to make that accessible too, but I hope you have. In that case, I noticed that unfortunately, all the buttons in this version are unlabeled, so the app is almost unusable if one doesn't remember exactly which of the many buttons does what. However, I believe it could be made accessible quite easily with some button labeling, as it seems all relevant elements are detected by VoiceOver.
As I said, I'd be glad to provide feedback and test both versions.
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your commitment to making your app accessible.
All the best.
Mac
Thank you for the comments. @jcdjmac, contact us and we will be able to assist your question. I believe you are in the testers group, which should unlock the full version.
@Laura, Mac is definitely something we will be implementing VoiceOvers soon. Together with Voice Control for Catlina.
