Hello all!

We have been developing a new audio game for iOS for a while now and we are finally ready to show you some gameplay! Tell us your thoughts, we really appreciate the feedback and whether the trailer gave a clear picture about the game. The launch is planned for 1st of September.

AudioWizards is a game where your mission is to defend the world of Sondveiw from incoming enemies imbued in elemental magics. You are accompanied by your mentor, Saundaman, who probably thinks drinking his tea is more important than saving the world. You can either engage in Story Mode or challenge yourself in Endless Mode.

Hi, really excited for this game. I just have one question. Will it be free? Or will we have to pay? Thanks and keep up the great work

By AudioWizards on Saturday, August 24, 2019 - 17:13

Thanks for the interest and praises! The game will be sold for $4,99.

EDIT: I somehow missed the replay button... This is what you get when you answer things half-tired "laugh".

Looking forward to the game. Sounds interesting. I will buy this game as it sounds like a lot of work has gone into it and it sounds interesting.

that's sad..

Free would be nice, but Keep in mind you have musicians, voice actors and programmers working on this. Lots of games sell for far, far more. Creation requires effort and a whole lot of time. Thus the moderate price tag.

Great job Mytruesound. Can't wait to hear how it sounds.

I'm also looking forward to this game. The trailer is great. I personally don't have a problem with the price. What some people need to realise is everything cannot be given to us for free.

By AudioWizards on Saturday, August 24, 2019 - 17:13

We understand the concerns about the pricing (for a mobile game almost $5 might seem high). We, however, wanted to take this approach rather than relying on microtransactions to keep supporting the game without any knots attached. Don't worry, we also want to make sure everyone curious about the game will know what they're about to pay for before the release.

Which voice is that in the Main Menu? I hear the voice from NVDA.
Could we sellect other voices?

Thanks for the question! The game utilizes UAP (Unity Accessibility Plugin). This means that each menu option is read by your phones or mobile devices native screen reader (as long as UAP supports it). The menu navigation on the trailer was recorded with PC, and utilizing the default screen reader on Windows, which is why it might have sounded similar to NVDA.

hello, over on the audio games forum you state that there is a skill level, will the game be challenging and not just hear this sound swipe up, this sound swipe down, this sound swipe left and right etc? otherwise, I feel that if this is like bop-it, or similar, the game will be relatively easy to play. I look forward though to infinite mode. the trailer sounded great.

Thanks for the question and interest! One of the key features from the start to this point has been the players possibility to express their skill. In a sense it might feel like a reactionary game where you respond to certain sounds with certain motions (for example, if you hear a fire monster approaching from the left, you use water spell to the left to defeat it). Of course, that's not all the game is about as there are more variety in the enemies than we have shown thus far and the playtests have shown that some levels can really put your heart pumping! You can also encounter different modifiers which should spice up the gameplay and, especially with the Endless Mode, make each run feel different.

I am really looking forward to playing this game. One of the things I really don't like, from some other games, is the fact that you have to have subscriptions of some sort. I really like the one and done thing. I also don't mind paying for something that is of a good quality. From the Youtube preview, it looks like this game will be well worth putting some cash on the table. Have you created a tip jar feature for those of us who wish to buy you a cup of coffee to speed you along on your gameing endeavors? Just a thought.

Haha, thanks for the suggestion! We have thought about the possibility of selling some AudioWizards and myTrueSound themed merchs but that might be to ambitious at least for now. Probably the best way to keep supporting us is to buy our other games in the future (we have one other game currently at works, MusicMaze, more about it later this year) and spreading the word around. Thank you for your interest though, we really appreciate it!

By Karok on Saturday, August 24, 2019 - 17:13

hi is their more info on music maze? a trailer? will this be more of an exploratory game with random mazes or a set number of levels, as in audio wizards? I feel music maze may be my kind of game as if one has to use music to navigate out of the maze and rhythm definitely a challenge

Unfortunately there's is not much I can say about Music Maze as its being worked on by a totally different team currently. I do however know that its going to be an endless runner type of game with strong, incorporated musical and rhythmical theme. More information about it should be available later this year!

By KE7ZUM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 - 17:13

As a stremer I also care about the graphics. They must be very good or I'm not that interested. I would love to try the game though, maybe I'll fail at it but i don't care lol! It will be fun.

Thanks for the interest! The game will be available 1st of September as long as we don't come across any super major roadblocks.
