Sounds Neat
I think I will have to try this game. You have it mislabeled though. You show this in the business category when it is actually a game. It's not a major issue but wanted to bring it to your attention.
At number 1 I am aware of this, thanks.
Reason I labelled it under business, is because it is also labelled under business in the App Store. I'll be happy to change it though.
Downloading
I now bought it. Always wanted a game like this. And in the app store its labeled business that's why he put it in that category.
My quick review
Hi.
Well, after playing a whole round I can say the following.
Please keep in mind that I am training to become a salesman, so my emphersize on the game and finantial strategy games is a bit different.
Let me put it like this that the average player who wants to get a feel for things will receive a very solid product and will hopefully enjoy it because the basics are included and easy to understand.
One thing that I have to critisize is that you only have 2 years till the buy up offer comes around, an endless mode where you try to reach a goal you set for your selfe would be a great adition.
What I'm personally missing is the more in depth managing aspect. Things like opposing companys, a finer marketing analysis for example target audience, current market situation, possible market increase or decrease, current finantial situation of the targeted audience group, pricing battles and so on.
Also, you sell generic products in the game. What I am missing is the factor that singles out your product from the others. For example conducting audience analysis, what do the people want, a research system, patents which you can hold or buy up with other companys and so on.
Also you are able to buy up as much products as you want, given your finantial situation of course, but you don't need to worry about things like trade embargos, possible pricing increase of certain raw materials or electronic parts, or even storage space in your company so that you just have space for a certain amount of products, and not unlimited.
Stock would also be a good idea which shareholders can invest to and set up certain goals which you have to meet, for example products sould or a certain income beeing met.
Basically in a nutshell, I am missing the hole statistics and numb crunching part which would make a business strategy game atractive for me.
I love this game
I love this game.
Additional fEatures Coming in v 2.0
Thanks for the great review and suggestions. These are features we are looking at rolling out in version 2 including market conditions and target demographics for your sales.
App Store Categories
The game shows up in Business and in Games because Apple gets you to submit two categories when you submit your app. This is what we did to increase discoverability of the game.
wow
This seems to be a fun game. I have no knowledge about business so am wondering if I wil actually need that in this game.
I guess we'll need knowledge in the future.
From what I've read, and what I understand is that there are new challenging features coming in the next version.
So addictive! Just one or two slight changes I'd ask ...
I love this game! I've played it 3 times this weekend and I'm hooked. However, I do agree with an above comment regarding the buy-out offer, I think that could be incorporated in the settings whether we go for the 2 years or set our own goal. It would indeed make the game more challenging. Also, I think the gaps between price points are too wide. If I wanted to slightly tweak the retail price of my product, I can't do it unless I change it drastically by something like $100. could future versions have more adjustable price points ... In incraments of 50, or even 20? Otherwise, I'd pay the price of the game all day long. BTW, loving Jack and Liz!
i have a problem.
hi.
after i choose my name and what product to sell, a tutorial screen appeared but i can't close.
what should i do?

Where's The Game?
I just heard about this game, and thought I'd give it a try. Curiously, I'm not finding it in the Canadian app store at the time of this writing, but have found it in the US store while searching Google. Was the game pulled from the Canadian store?
I am on the Canadian App
I am on the Canadian App Store and found something called "Venture Zone Game", which I am hoping is this game. It is very blind friendly by the sounds of it so far and I've started up the tutorial.
I just searched for "Venture Zone". Hope this is the correct game?
Found It
I see what happened. Apparently, there are two apps: Venture Zone, which I believe is just for the Canadian store and is free, and Venture Zone Global which is for everywhere else.
Anyway, I got the game now. I wish there was a Repeat button on screens where the tutorial is being read out in case you need to hear the information again, but what I've seen so far I like.
I'm surprised that
I'm surprised that no one has added the Canadian version to this directory.
Yeah, I was shocked the game
Yeah, I was shocked the game was noted as free in the Canadian store, hence why I was uncertain if it was the same one. But it would all seem to match.
I didn't do too well on my first playthrough - only got to like 550k in money. I'm not sure if I'm certain enough yet on the best strategy for things, either. I'm assuming if you hire a lot of people in one department, "Internal" tasks for that department go faster? Then again you have to weigh the cost of paying an employee vs. paying the external contractor.
Screen refuses to close in the tutorial.
Hi all. I just bought this game, and after I selected the category and type of product I'd like to sell, the next tutorial screen talks about the three different funding options you have. there's a close button there, like on the previous screens, but double tapping it doesn't close the screen. I've removed the app from the appswitcher and tried again, with no luck. Tried powering the phone off and back on again, with the same result. I'm using an iPhone 11, if that helps. Anyone have any clue what's up?
Same problem here
I'm having the same problem. I'm not able to close this tutorial screen. I've an iPhone 11 too.
I am also having the same problem.
I am also having the same problem. It sounds like a neat game if I could just get passed this one tutorial screen. Can't close it. I'm using latest version of IOS, an iPhone xs max, VoiceOver, and a Focus braille display.
This looks like abandonware.
By the sounds of things, it's no longer being worked on. I've deleted it from my phone a long time ago. It's true what they say. The app dies as soon as it's no longer being worked on.
Please tweet @CNIB about…
Please tweet @CNIB about this. I no longer work there, but this should be highlighted to them as a priority.
Venturezone
I didn’t know that it has an issue. I bought it today and i couldn’t close it . At least it’s not that expensive
