Hi,
I don‘t like to update apps on iPhone and iPad automatically. So I prefer do check each update of an app and click to update all apps manually. To do so I use the button on top to update all at once after I checked the update notes.
It began with sometimes one update that wasn‘t made. Suddenly there was one app left even though I clicked on the update all button. Now a days often I need to click three or four times on the update all button because the iOS App Store won‘t update all apps at once. It updates a number of apps and suddenly it stops.
To me this is annoying. Especially because it becomes increasingly harder to get all apps manually updated. It‘s totally unreliable.
Has anyone of you the same issue? Is anyone in the beta tester circle and has anounced this to Apple?
I use an iPhone XS with enough of free storage and iOS 12.3.1.
Thanks and all the best
Jürgen

I'm seeing this too. It even happens when you update a single app, You press update, it says loading, and then it stops and goes back to update.

I've also seen this. it will update eventually. report it at bugreport.apple.com
not me
I haven't seen this. And I hope reading this didn't jinx me! lol
Maybe a workaround is to turn updates auto on for now. I know/understand why you don't want to do it, but maybe this is a workaround. Maye this bug is only seen in a very small number of people.
I've seen it
Surprisingly, switching off and on my phone did it for me.
Thanks for your ideas
Thanks for your answers. I'll give a restart öf the iPhone a try.
Yesterday something really wiered happened: One of my apps was loading and vanished after the update from the list as it should. But a few moments later it appeared again in the list to update.
What you all could try out: open the update tap and seehow many updates are available. Then put VO on the first app in the list and perform a three finger gesture down to update the list. On my iPhone several additional apps appear on the list to update than before.
So there's something broken in this area. Hopefully Apple will fix this sooner or later.Z
UpdateTo theLatestVersion
Hello, you may want to update to the latest version of iOS. The latest version is 12.0.3.3 ... maybe 4 by now. But it also may be a OS version incompatibility problem.
Similar Problem on my MBA
I've had this and a related problem with my Mac. That is, automatic updates stopped working for awhile, but as of the initial release of OS Mojave the problem seems to be resolved for me. The wi-fi here in my apartment complex is rather wonky at times. I've had no issues on my iPhone with Automatic Updates turned on. The only thing is that I experience time-outs when the screen locks. So to get around this I've started setting the automatic screen lock to Never, and then once the update has fully completed I go back in and set my automatic lock to where it was prior to updating. This doesn't seem to be troublesome on my Mac though, at least for the time being.
