question about voice translation apps

Hi all, I recently had an idea to do with voice translation apps, some tv shows have sections where people speak in other languages, unfortunately no ios apps seem particularly good at reading subtitles from a screen particularly in real time. so the thought I had was to try voice translation apps instead, I have tried Microsoft translator, and this isn't bad, but I have found recordings seem to end after basically a few seconds of dialogue, obviously I know they can't go on for minutes or hours, but I don't think 20 or 30 seconds of translation is two much to ask. so seeing as Microsoft translator doesn't seem good for this are there any other apps that I might be able to take advantage of, that might do a better job.
