Hello. I'm trying to delete an app from the finder that was not downloaded from the App Store. I've tried Command + backspace to move the app to the trash, but its not going. Can someone please help? Thank you

What app are you trying to deleat. It should work if you go to your applications folder itself and press command delete on the app there.W

Its an app I accidently downloaded from the web. The command for deleting it is not working when I'm in the applications folder.

Is the app open or in use? If you're not sure, open Activity Monitor and check if there are any processes related to that app. If there are, quit them and try deleting the app again.

If it is a legit app, try googling something like, "Uninstall app name." If it is malware, use something like Malware Bytes or another anti-malware app to remove it and disinfect your computer.
