Dear all, I'm looking for an accessible radio player for Mac that can be used to listen a streaming radio. I also need an radio player that can record directly from the streaming radio. In windows, the application whom I use is Radio Sure. But, the developer does not make that application for Mac. Please give me your suggestion. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I personally use radium for Mac. The list of streams seems to be rather comprehensive, though if you want to stream Internet streams, more often than not, you will have to add them yourself. This app is not free though. For recording, I will use sound flower and lineIn to monitor. I know this is a rather interesting workaround, but I can say with certainty that it works. I also use this for other recording, such as from YouTube. Hope this helps.

Hi Brandt, thanks for your suggestion. before I buy those applications, I have a question about accessibility. Is it fully accessible with VoiceOver, or there are some accessibility issues? Are you satisfied using those applications? I Found an application called radio recorder on AppStore. Based on the description on the app, it can stream and also record. Does anyone have an experience using that application? Is it accessible with VoiceOver?

Hi, Radium is fully accessible, so is sound flower and lineIn. You will however have to be careful with sound flower and lineIn. If you make a mistake, you might be unable to use your computer due to not having speech. This however might not be necessarily fatal, if you have sighted help. Let me know if I can be of any further help.
Hello Brandt, I already bought Radium and downloaded SoundFlower. Then, what should I do to record streaming radio? Please explane step by step.

I usually just use tunein.com. It works well on the Mac, and while not an app, the site is easy enough to use and you get all of the content you do on the app for iOS. I've never tried recording though.

Considering it has been a few years since the last comment was posted, here, I was wondering if these comments are still relevant? Would Radium still be the most accessible radio player for Mac? Or are there now other new options?
