I have read from some very very disgruntled people on Twitter that the newest update to the Lyft app breaks accessibility and you can not find the button to actually summon Lyft for a ride. I am using an IPhone 8+ and my operating system is up to date, 12.something.something I can never remember. Anyone experienced troubles like this in the newest update? The app store is nagging me to update but I don't obviously want an app I depend on constantly not to work. Thanks in advance.

I'm using an iPhone X under the most recent update of iOS (12.2.X), and I just tried the newest version of Lyft. Everything works well, including the request Lyft button. I'm not sure what the disgruntalment would be, as it's working fine here.

I am also up to date with the latest software on my iPhone eat and I have experienced no accessibility issues what so ever with scheduling a ride, trying to take one. Everything still works fine, nothings changed so I don’t know where their having that problem however I’m not. I also recently updated to Lyft’s newest version and there are no accessibility issues with finding any of the buttons, so go ahead and update your Lyft app. In case you’re still having doubts or reservations, do a manual back up before updating to lists newest version. To manually back up your iPhone: Open the Settings app, click on your eye cloud account name, click on I cloud, scroll down to the cloud back up and click on it. From there, hit the back up now option. Hope this info helps and have fun!

Thanks everyone. I updated the app with no problems. Works just like before. Guess I should ignore the Twitterverse at times. Thanks all for your help.
