I can not hear when people very well when they call me or I call them is there an audio booster you can get like you can with android or how can I fix the issue
A couple things to try. First, during a call in progress, press and hold the up volume switch. If this doesn't work, after the call has ended, open settings, Sounds and Haptics, and then check to see that Sound Volume is at 100%. If not, do a one finger flick upward to increase the percentage to 100%. Sometimes, I have found that I have to increase the volume in this manner because I also use a Bluetooth speaker or headset, which can just get the volume out of wack. If neither of these fixes the problem, consider doing a soft reset of your phone by simultaneously pressing and holding the power and home buttons for approximately 10 seconds. Then release the buttons and wait for the phone to power back up. Sometimes, if I think it has been too long and the phone hasn't returned, what I do is simply plug it into electricity. This seems to joldt it back to life again.
Finally, if none of these options fixes the problem, you may have a defective speaker, which does happen, or perhaps someone else on this forum will have more suggestions for you.
Hi,
Your earpiece might either be failing since it is an old device, or heir might be stuff inside it. if it is the case, I'd take your device into an apple store if there's one close by and either see if they can fix it or get see if you can upgrade to a different device.
