Accessibility Comments

I had little success with this app on my initial attempts. However, with the latest update, the release notes mentioned VoiceOver integration, so I couldn't wait to try it again. I was thrilled to be able to play tunes for the first time on a jukebox independently by using this app. I ran across a couple of buttons that seemed to be unlabeled, but VoiceOver seemed to correctly identify those labels by using it's automatic OCR feature and gave descriptions such as "possible text cancel," etc.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

I ran into a situation where it appeared that a prompt appeared in a small portion of the screen, leaving the original content in the rest of the screen. Perhaps, the rest of the screen looked different visually, but I initially wasn't aware of the prompt. I couldn't figure out why my selections weren't being accepted until I discovered the prompt in the lower portion of the screen. Once I responded to the prompt, it went away and I was able to continue interacting with the rest of the screen.

I came across one of these jukeboxes yesterday and was able to use it with this app. It was really cool after reading about it and not think the jukeboxes would ever be accessible. Good on them for implementing it.

I used this for the first time the other day and it works relatively well with VoiceOver. It was nice to be able to independently play music when out with friends for the group.
