Hello all.
I know with IOS 11, you would be able to swipe up with two fingers to access the dock, to put an app in splitScreen view so you could run two apps side by side.
With IOS 12, how does one accomplish this? The gestures have changed, and I'm a bit lost.
I know you have to drag an app but i'm not sure how this is done now.

Thank you very much for any assistance.

Yes it has changed. Now flick up and dow with one finger like if you want to decrease screen size. Then you'll here the familiar wush sound and the Dock appears.

thanks for the tip. so do i do a single flick up while in an app, say i want to run Safari and messages by each other. Can you explain the steps?

OK, not easy to explain verbally but I‘ll give it a try:
1. Open Safari
.2. Quickly flick up with one finger from the bottom of the screen and down again without lifting the finger. You should hear the familiar click sounds from iPhone X series.
3. Then you‘ll hear a woosh sound and the Dock appears.
4. Choose Messages and flick down until you hear the desired action and double tap with one finger.
I hope this will be helpful. I don‘t know how to explain it differently but ask if anything wasn‘t clear enough.
