Hi. I recently had to erase my iPhone and put all my apps back.

Its been such a long time i've been trying to find out which items in accessibility to turn off and on like background app refresh etc.

If anyone has some good tips in conserving my iPhone 8 battery with altering different settings I would be greatful.

I thought there was a guide covering this but seems there's no longer a guide.

Cheers.

From Snowy.

I guess what you're looking for is Reduce Motion in Accessibility settings which needs to be turned on. Then head to Background App Refresh in Settings to turn of background refresh for specific apps or turn it off completely. Alternatively, Low Power Mode in Battery settings takes care of all this in one go.

Refresh background I have it on WIFI to save battery, The apps I have them off with the exceptionof apple news because I liketo get news alert. Notification I have some of the apps off. I only have notification for apple news, messages, Vorail and Weather Gods. Also brightness I have it at 10%. Wall paper. I have photos that do not move around. Dynamic Wallpaper uses battery. I alsohave email in manual. I check emails and not my iPhone. In iCloud I have on only what I want to save in the cloud such as message, photos, no email.
