Experiencing Problems With the Latest Netflix Version?

I am running Netflix version 11.15.2 on my iPhone 8 Plus. Before I installed this version, I could browse the home screen of the app by heading to locate the content in which I was interested. I am unable to do so now. There are other issues, as well: In the "Continue Watching" section, for example, it will say something like, "You have watched 28 minutes of 40 minutes, S:1 E5," which I take to mean "season 1, episode 5." The title of the show is obviously missing. Many of the buttons are not activated when double tapped and are not labeled properly for VoiceOver. I am disappointed in this regression, as Netflix appeared to be quite accessible before this update. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

I am running the latest version on my 10S and I am not seeing these issues. You might want to try turning your phone off and then on again. If that does not work uninstall the app and reinstall it.

Thanks for your reply, but I have already tried those methods. Should have mentioned that.

No issues here either. It sounds strange, reinstalling should fix that because no one is experiencing issues

I cannot exactly replicate the issues mentioned above, but certainly Netflix isn't as smooth as it used to be. The bottom tabs appears slightly off possitions, Going in the Search tab doesn't bring up various categories, etc.

The Home, Search, Downloads and More tabs are where they should be.
It is true that there are no categories on the Search screen because now you type anything you want to find. You can type Star Trek, or Sci-fi movies. The same with descrived content, simply type audio description

I am experiencing similar problems. Running the latest software on an iPhone XS, and my "Continue Watching" section isn't working correctly with VO either. This makes it difficult to pick up on shows where I left off.

These issues are also happening on my partner's iPhone 7 Plus, so it makes me wonder if the issues are limited to older devices. For those who are not experiencing the issues I mentioned, can you tell me what iPhone or iOS device you are using, please? It will help when I contact Netflix technical support.

I just tried to search for audio description but it only brings up about 30 results. Is there any way to show all of them like the audio description search category used to?

I type audio description and look for a heading named explore titles related to. Under that there are language suggestions. Double tap the one you want and voila.

That method still doesn't give you a complete list, I just tried it.

The only way to get a complete list of described content on netflix now is to use their site, and that may not have everything listed.

I don't like the new way the app lists described content, you have to tap on movies or tv from the home tab, then tap on all genres, then go right down to audio description.

That's not a complete listing either, which is why I recommend looking at the list on their website.

I'm wondering if there app will still receive updates, now that new users won't have the option to pay through iTunes?

I guess they'll keep it around until things slowly stop working.
