My shortcuts don’t work via Siri , I set them up, they worked for a couple of days, and now they refuse to work via Siri, the shortcuts them selves work fine, any ideas?
You should make sure you have the latest update to the Shortcuts app since that fixed several serious problems that were preventing shortcuts from working with SIRI. after that update my shortcuts which were not working with SIRI now will work with SIRI.
That being said, I still occasionally have a problem with a shortcut and SIRI will say "Sorry, there was a problem with the shortcut". If I try again, the shortcut will usually work.
I just wanted to add to my previous post about some of the shortcuts not working with SIRI.
As I indicated, my shortcuts work with SIRI now almost all of the time since updating the Shortcust app itself. However I just had a situation today where, when trying to run one of my shortcuts using SIRI, SIRI responded that I didn't have an app by that name. This happened several times. I also got error messages when trying to run several of my other shortcuts using SIRI, so I opened up the Shortcuts app and ran the shortcuts manually by performing a single finger double tap with VoiceOver.
I then locked the phone and re-opened it and, amazingly, SIRI began working to activate the shortcuts. Go figure. I guess Apple still has some work to do in making these shortcuts run more reliably with SIRI and VoiceOver.
My shortcuts work directly by pressing them, but when I say “boost heating” this is correct phrase etc, it reply’s with “ boots hearing located in bath” and some other goolglegook, all my apps etc are updated daily, it just baffles me, I even reinstalled the shortcut , any other
ideas ?

Also try rebooting your iOS device.
