Here are my thoughts. It's not worth it. Alt-text doesn't work on it, and you can't get images off it to save and upload to Braigo or similar apps. I took the app off my ipad. I tried deleting my account, but it wouldn't let me. Stick with Facebook.

thank you for this! I think I'll check it out! It'll be nice if they made Instagram accessible. Especially because that's where pics of my nieces get posted mostly.
Subject line pretty much says it. I don't have their iOS app, but I've checked out the website though and it doesn't seem bad. But I'll have to go back there to check out the accessibility improvements. I actually registered on there upon a colleague's recommendation. I think he and I both shared some thing, but I've honestly been too busy to go back.
Not an Instigram user. I have only light perception, so I can’t see pics on the screen anyway. Since Instigram is visual in nature, and that obviously doesn’t work for my use case, I think twitter would be a better solution.
