I always look forward to the events, even though most of them of late have been underwhelming and never have anything I'm really interested in buying. I'm wondering if they'll either update or kill off the iPad Mini since it costs more than the 6th gen iPad. What would be cool, although it wouldn't be for me, is if they modernized the iPod touch and gave it a bigger screen and at least put touch ID in the thing. That would be good for kids, or Android switchers that want to keep a foot in iOS land.
Well...Since I don't own an iPad, Apple Watch or iPod, I doubt there'll be much for me in this event. But you just never know I suppose. One thing I'd like very much to see is Apple either ditching the passcode/password thing altogether in favor of Touch ID in more places, or have a control that places the decision in the hands of users. Pun totally intended. Having said that, Touch ID on my iPhone seems to be working pretty well and I think I've managed to bypass the dreaded log-in time-outs a few times. Perhaps it just has gotten to know me a bit better, lol. I know, I need to get better at the dictation thing. But I just have not had near the amount of time to myself as of late that I need to do everything.
My sighted wife is hoping for a better display on the iPad Pro. She'd like to see a 4K display, but I haven't heard that it will be that good. I don't think it's going to be OLED either.
I ust got an iPhone 8 plus last night, and am loving it. I have my apple tv's, and my 2011 mac book pro is still getting the job done, so there's honestly nothing I have any interest in. If they actually update the mac mini, that *might* be something to consider, but that's the only thing I can think of that would even remotely be of interest. I already ordered a different wireless charging pad for my new phone, so apple releasing one probably wouldn't mean anything for me. We'll just have to wait and see if they announce anything worthwhile.

maybe the wireless charging pad
That's what I'm interested in. And you never know what else they will come out with. Yes, I am interested in the event.
Perhaps Some Surprises

A New iPad Pro, Perhaps?
I'm looking *forward to it! I want a new iPad Pro!
And btw, forward is one word...

do not ditch the use of a password
Doing so would totally kill security. Using an iDevice without a password is dangerous, and I would very strongly advise against doing so.
will read highlights of event, but am not excited about it
