Hi,
I cannot find rest finger to unlock in IOS12 it used be earlier, I.E., in Home Button settings inside Accessibility settings. Has it been moved elsewhere or removed altogether?
Hello. On my iPhone 7 I actually have to press the Home button in iOS 12, whereas before I could just rest one of my index fingers on there and it would unlock. I don't know why this small change, but Touch ID just seems to be a bit finicky for me. It does work though.
Thanks for the response. It's a matter of that extra press, which till IOS11 could be reduced by enabling Rest Finger to Unlock option. I updated to IOS12 and for some reason reset my device and the extra press is back, and the option is missing from its usual place in Settings>General>Accessibility>Home Button. So has the option being removed or been moved elsewhere is my question.
That is interesting. On my iPhone 7 running iOs 12, the, "Rest finger to open," setting is in the expected place, accessibility > home button, at the very bottom.

Yes it's there. But when one Of keeps flicking right it stops at Voice Control option as if there's nothing after that. Thanks so much.
