Since the shortcuts app is just workflow with an update and a new name, wouldn't the podcast that Alex did suffice? I listened to that after dowloading the shortcuts app since I'd never used workflow before. Yes it does sound a bit complicated, but it also sounds exciting to try to learn. I want to try to modify a shortcut I found to duplicate an Alexa skill I used to use since I'm all in on the homepod now.

Also there is a short cuts app (earlier it was workflow) that you might want to try. Till someone does a podcast, it is befuddling to get them going.
