Hey guys, like I said it the subject, I'm stuck on a level in Echoes from Levia. It's the one where they have to travel across a marsh and you have to figure out a safe path so you don't end up sinking. I haven't the slightest idea where to go because the bubbles are everywhere. If anyone has gotten that far yet, and succeeded, can I just have a hint? Or else I will end up forever hating the sound of bubbles. :-)

It's tricky.
I can't exactly tell you where to go, because I don't even know myself. I can give you some help on how to navigate better though. Just try side-stepping into the direction where you don't hear the bubbles. Sometimes you will end up at a place where it sounds like there are two bubbles in front of you. In truth, this means that there is actually one in front of you and one behind you. To determine which one is on the front or the back, just take a 90° turn to the left or right to make them reveal their actual directions. I'm sorry. It's the only tip I can give you. Like I said, it's tricky.
Marshes
Hi there. I've just reached that level and it's driving me crazy. I do find that sidestepping does help. I've even tried using the trees as a guide. I can't help thinking the sound of frogs is relevant? If you have got that far, I'd love to know how you cracked it.
I hate this level. That’s
I hate this level. That’s where I am. I’m trying to concentrate and follow the sound but it’s right through a bubble. There’s no way through.
it's not that complicated
The trick is to always face the dirrection where there's no bubble. If I remember right, the first step you have to go back. Turn 180 degrees instead of walking backwards. then always turn where you don't hear a bubble. If you are not sure if the bubble is in front or behind turn around a few times untill you clearly know where they are. Walk only a step at a time because the placement of bubbles changes with every step.
avoiding the bubbles
Now that I'm successfully navigating the bubbles, I've stumbled across what appears to be a path, since there's no warning or instruction. It sounds like vegetation and the sound of frogs is getting a little louder. There are no bubbles whatsoever. Am I on the right track?
I'm having the same issue
Turning around will make me trip and fall. What gesture command you use to turn?
Turning around
To turn your character to the left or right swipe in the direction you want him to turn with one finger if you just want him to sidestep left or right swipe with two fingers
Marsh level
I don't understand how you keep falling. I've never done that. I have however cracked the first section. The trick is to take one step forward when the music changes, stop and listen to the position of the bubbles. When you hear them in front of you, take a step to the side then turn until you hear the sound that leads to the next section. If you hear the sound ahead of you along with bubbles, keep sidestepping and turning until you hear the sound very close once you step towards it, you've done it. My next challenge is keeping up the good work and not screwing it up and having to start over. It's actually easy when you know what you're doing.
I do think as other people
I do think as other people have said the sound design on this game is quite poor, in that you can't clearly determine if things are behind or in front of you, I am at the marsh bit and my pet hate is having to listen to those stupid cut scenes over and over again, seriously did the developers not get any blind players to test this game, I mean lets be honest its been savaged on audiogames.net and a fair bit on applevis, I will try the marsh suggestion, but its not exactly fun if you can't clearly tell if things are behind or in front of you. I would think though that if they had got actual blind people to test the game they would have fed back about being able to skip the scenes once listened to. Plus I have noticed a few bits where its obvious audio has been joined together or just not cut well once recorded, and I noticed all the people you fight seem to be played by the same person.
though hopefully the developer will continue to improve the game, but having said that once completed I can't imagine it will be staying on my phone because I can't see any random story elements or replay value and it is quite a big game in terms of size, so even if the developer makes improvements if they happen once I have finished the game I doubt I will experience them unless its going to be part of a series.
An idea
I think they should make the sounds behind you sound lower pitched, so you can know that it's behind you.
well I beat the marsh at last
well I beat the marsh at last, more through luck than skill I think, but that seriously wasn't fun took me far longer than it should. plus there is no way to save in the game in between the automatic save points, which makes me wonder what is the point of having the 3 save slots in the first place?
and I am sick of hearing cut scenes again and again whenever I die.
I am also stuck in the saim level as you guys.
If you all have find the way pleace make a podcast. Because it is very frustrating. Because I can't understand what you men by wrighting. All sounds are saim to me.
I can't decode that a boble is behind me or infruntof me.
Thanks
Also stuck
Hi all. Al here. Unfortunately i have also been stuck on the same level and have been tryingng to get my head around it for just under a week. So i keep feeling like i am going around in circles with the sound i need to get closer to. When the bubbles are in the left and right ears i am aware it is safe to take a couple of steps forward. However, u then end up with a set of bubbles infront of u. and the sound gets closer and then further. I keep having to go in opposit directions. And when i turn left or right, i'm still left in confusion. So, if anyone is willing to doHey a podcast for this part, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
