I have lost the single key navigation on web pages such as H for headings, V for visited links, etc. It doesn't matter if quick nav is on or off on my Mac. Help!
To use single letter quick nav, you must turn both regular quick nav and single letter quick nav on. I assume most people are familiar with pressing left and right arrows simultaneously to turn regular quick nav on or off. Single letter quick nav is toggled by pressing VO Q. That’s control option Q. Make note that single letter quick nav only works when both are turned on. It won’t work if only single letter quick nav is turned on. Also, all this applies equally to iOS.
I sometimes lose this setting randomly, go to voiceover utility, - commanders - quicknav - enable single key web navigation when quicknav is enabled to get it back
