Hello. I am new to using my Braille display on iOS and new to using Voicedream Reader. I am having trouble getting the Braille display to pan without skipping text and getting the speech to just please shut up without having to mute it altogether! I followed the instructions given on the FAQ page for VoiceDream Reader, but I'm not finding the reader to behave in the way described on that page. It says I should be able to pan to the bottom of the text and then run into the Bookmark button. That doesn't happen. When I get to the next page, I've always skipped a significant amount of text, and speech starts again. If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd much appreciate it.

Hello. I went looking for an answer to this question and experimented a little. Here's what I came up with.

Open any book, so that you have the reading screen open. At

the top of the screen is a Visual Settings button. Press it.

At the end of the controls in this screen is one called ADVANCED Visual Settings. Press it.

This opens another screen. In this screen is a set of selection buttons that control scrolling. Set this to page.

The last thing to set is the number of lines. It is also in this screen. Set it to 1 line.

I have tried reading on a section of a book a short time back, and it seems to be working for me. I’m going to try more books. I’m finding that I occasionally get very short lines, so I’m going to play more to see if I can get less choppy reading, but this works so far. The scrolling is staying in sync.
