<Hello.
I just bought an awesome apple keyboard to muy iPad Pro 9.7.

I really likee this keayboard. The problem i am having is that I cannot use the up and down arrow combination on it.
Is there a similar command.
Edit: Also, how do I use f keys like f1 or f8?

I'm afraid I do not have an answer for you, since your post appears to be blank. Smiles.

I messed that up.
I was going to ask how to double tap something with it because on my old it was up plus down arrows.¨
The other question I had was if there is a way to use the f keys such as f9 or f3.
Sorry for that blank message. :-)

No worries. You should still be able to use the up and down arrow keys to activate an item, you just need to insure that QuickNav is enabled. If you have a keyboard that doesn't have the arrow keys, you can press the VoiceOver modifier with space to do the same thing.
Typically, if the F keys are not working, you will need to press them in conjunction with the FN key. This is usually the key just to the left of the control key, or, in another sense, the key located in the lower let corner of the keyboard. I hope one or both of these things help!

Yes, the up and down thing works.
Unfortuhnately I have no fm key as I can see. I wish I could find the manual somewhere but I am not even sure what keyboard this is. It is an apple original keyboard that is connected by magnet rather than bluetoothl.

I have searched on the keyboard and I cannot find the key. If I ask my staff to blook at the box it only says apple smart keyboard for iPad Pro 9.7 so I don
t even know what to search for.
The keyboard is really great, however. It is very comfortable. But this fm key or is it fn? is driving me into madness, not nessesarily because I need to have it now but there are a few functions I cannot seem to do without it.
F6,f7 and f8 controls playback and f11+f12 if I am right adjusts volume. I wish there were a way to actually do this witout the f keys. But I might be missing an obvious key so maybe there is even a key located somewhere.

The only reason why I want those keys is simple.
I want to control playback and I want to change the volume.
The volume is easy; I can easily reach the volume on my iPad top.
I cannot find a substitute for the back, forward and play/pause buttons.

If you press VO+K this will activate the keyboard help. Press the keys on the keyboard and it will speak the name or function of the key you press. If you press the keys in the combinations that are used for VO commands it will tell you those as well.
I hope this helps you. It has helped me.

I don’t know if there is a voiceover specific keystroke but will try all the keyboard commands I can think of trying.

For VO specific keys, press Control+option, those are the second and third keys to the right of the FN key. The FN Key is usually located at the bottom left of the keyboard. You can always do a search on google about how to use FN keys on your apple smart keyboard for iPad pro.
