I have owned the Bose Soundsport Free wireless headphones for two months now. In my opinion, vision is not required to easily get the most out of this product.

The earbuds come with a durable looking case which latches securely. There are two ways to know when you have the case positioned properly. The first way is to notice what feels like a crack just above the latch button. This is where the cover latches to the case. The other way is that the USB port for charging the case is in the center, and is below the cover’s hinge.

Upon opening the case, you will see the case’s battery in the center. This battery is said to provide up to ten hours of additional charging for your earbuds. The earbuds are supposed to provide five hours on a charge. To either side is the left and right earbuds.

The earbuds are positioned securely by magnets in the case. Simply line them up so the button or buttons are facing up; the buds are facing toward the center, and drop them in the case. The right earbud has two raised buttons on it and one recessed button in between, and the left earbud has only one tactile button.

To insert them simply turn them about 1/8 of a turn toward the back of your head after you have position the bud in your ear. The tactile buttons should be pointing up toward the top of your head.

My experience is that you can listen only to the right earbud when the left earbud is in the charger, but if you place the right earbud on the charger, they will disconnect. Removing the right earbud from your ear will not cause the earbuds to be disconnected unless you place it on the charger.

I really like the fact that Bose provides software updates to the earbuds. Bose recommends installing the Bose Connect app in order to receive the latest software updates. After I installed the update there is very little lag if any when using VoiceOver. On Android phones, I noticed a slight lag which causes the phone to be a little more difficult to use.

In my opinion the audio quality is what I would have expected from a Bose product. The synthesized voice is not that great but understandable. Be sure to apply any software updates before beginning to use them for entertainment.

Hi.
It might be too much to ask for, but it would be interesting to have those compared to the Earpods.
