Hello.
First, I have no cards connected to my iTunes account.
I want to subscribe to Apple Music and I see the price and all.
How does this work? Will I be able to renew the subscription with a new gift card or will it still require a credit card or such?

Apple Music subscription
Apple will use store credit before it charges your credit card for an Apple Music subscription.
As long as you have enough
As long as you have enough credit in your iTunes account, you should be fine.
I've been doing this for years and haven't had a problem.
Now I guess the question is, what happens if you don't have credit? that's when it will normally grab money from your bank card if you have one on file.
I also don't have one on file, like you, so I don't know what happens if there's nothing to withdraw money from, luckily, I keep track of how much I have in my account.
I have actually tried to look into this, but all the responces asume you have a card on file.
I'd rather be safe than sorry.
I think the lowest my credit got to was $3 australian.
Nothing happens
If you have spent all your credit and you don’t have any cards from where they can take money then they will send you email that you don’t have enough money. Your membership will be cancelled.
Thanks, that's handy to know.

I thought it might be something like that, at least they don't charge what's owed once you get more credit.
Apple iTunes account
Hi there, as long as you have credit on your account-either iTunes card or Apple money-you should be fine. As long as you keep an eye on your account, you should be fine. I don’t think you’ll have any problems when adding more money to your iTunes account. As far as I know, you should be able to renew your subscription, without having to use a credit card .... just make sure that you have enough money on your iTunes account to pay for the subscription and you should be fine. Hope this helps some. Good luck and I hope this helps, Kai.
