Hi everyone, I'm looking for a free application I can se to convert audio with. I have some MP3 files, that I would like to make into M4R files so that I can make them into ringtones to use with my iPhone. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. Thanks so much, and Happy Newyears Eve!!

just use iTune to convert your sound to aac version. go to create aac version.
I forgot to mention that the sound can not be more than 40 seconds. so you would have to cut off the part that you didn't want before you convert them to m4r other wise the m4r sound won't sync with your iPhone.
It's actually 30 seconds not 40 according to some FAQ and articles I've read. and through a lot of experience by making my own ring tones. Good luck.
alot of my ringtone are 38 seconds and/or longer than 30 seconds and it still sync with both of my iPhone and iPad. yes, i know i read something about that too but i guess it turn out not to be right.

I use iRinger. There's a good Applevis podcast for the program.
